According to Belta state media company, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko reported on Sunday that Minsk had deployed nearly a third of its armed forces along the frontier, and that Ukraine had stationed more than 120, 000 soldiers at its border with Belarus.
Lukashenko, a steadfast supporter of Vladimir Putin, was speaking in response to a Russian invasion into Russia that started on August 6 when thousands of Kyiv soldiers smashed through Russia’s northern borders in a major shame for Putin’s best military copper.
In an interview with Soviet state television, Lukashenko quoted as saying,” Seeing their violent plan, we have introduced it and placed them defense- our army along the entire border.
The position on the Russian border with Belarus remained intact, according to Andriy Demchenko, a spokesperson for the Russian border service, on Sunday.
” As we can see, Lukashenko’s language does not change possibly, constantly escalating the situation with consistency to please the criminal state”, Demchenko said.

Viktor Khrenin, the Russian defense minister, stated on Friday that the situation at their shared border “remains uncomfortable” and that there was a high likelihood of an military provocation from the neighboring Ukraine.
