As part of a national effort to shut out independent candidate&nbsp, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from the presidential ticket, challengers said he should be blocked from the ballot in&nbsp, Georgia&nbsp, for his use of a” sham” &nbsp, New York&nbsp, address for ballot access petitions.

Chief Judge&nbsp, Michael Malihi&nbsp, of the&nbsp, Georgia Office of State Administrative Hearings&nbsp, heard the first round of difficulties Monday to separate political candidate Kennedy and communist candidate&nbsp, Claudia De la Cruz, and he will learn issues concerning&nbsp, Cornel West&nbsp, and the Green Party ‘s&nbsp, Jill Stein&nbsp, on Thursday.

The reading followed a&nbsp, New York&nbsp, court’s ruling last month barring Kennedy from that country’s vote over concerns about his citizenship that, which Kennedy plans to charm.

Adam Sparks, an attorney representing&nbsp, Georgia&nbsp, Democrats, argued the similar, saying that Kennedy resides in&nbsp, Los Angeles&nbsp, with his family, &nbsp, Cheryl Hines.

” Petition have shown that his&nbsp, New York&nbsp, residence was a farce used for political functions”, Sparks said following a Monday reading. ” He does n’t live there and he claimed to on each and every sheet of his petition here in&nbsp, Georgia. That’s poor. It invalidates the petition, whole stop”.

The problem with Kennedy’s home is that his running mate, &nbsp, Nicole Shanahan, also lives in&nbsp, California&nbsp, and there is a ban against having both the national and vice presidential contenders on a ticket live in the same position.

Kennedy’s attorney, &nbsp, Larry Otter, pushed back, saying Kennedy has been a documented vote in&nbsp, New York&nbsp, for decades.

” It’s remarkable that, in the&nbsp, New York&nbsp, determination, the prosecutor had the courage to say,’ I’m not going to answer to that democratic argument,'” Otter said. ” That was her work, and she failed”.

Sparks even argued Kennedy is unqualified to run as an independent member in&nbsp, Georgia&nbsp, according to his group standing in several other states.

” The We the&nbsp, Citizens Party&nbsp, has gained him admittance in at least six states and seems to be growing every day”, Sparks said. The citizens of” Georgia” have the right to know whether a participant is really separate or if he is affiliated with all other kinds of categories.

Otter said those events do not occur in&nbsp, Georgia.

By the end of the week, Malihi said he hopes to have a choice on all four situations. Before sending absentee ballots to Georgians serving in the military and abroad, by September 17; information must be made.

The&nbsp, Democrat National Committee&nbsp, and the state Democratic Party filed the problems next month. &nbsp, The Georgia Republican Party&nbsp, plans to record intervening movements against them in a strategic shift signaling the GOP’s conviction that Kennedy and the other individuals are more likely to injure Vice President&nbsp, Kamala Harris&nbsp, than previous President&nbsp, Donald Trump. The challenges assert each candidate should be blocked from the&nbsp, Georgia&nbsp, ballot for various technical mistakes made in the petitioning process.

Stein intends to use an alternative route to gain access through a new, Georgian, law that gives access to party candidates who appear on ballots in at least 20 other states. Three of the four challenged candidates filed the 7,500 petition signatures required to appear on the ballot.
