
At least 28 Shiite travelers traveling from Pakistan to Iraq have died as a result of a dreadful vehicle crash in northern Iran, according to local authorities. The accident occurred later Tuesday night in Yazd state, as reported by Mohammad Ali Malekzadeh, a nearby emergency services standard.
51 pilgrims were traveling from Iraq to Iraq for Arbaeen, a considerable Shiite holiday marking the 40th anniversary of Imam Hussein’s death. Millions of dollars are spent on Karbala each month.
The fall left another 23 people injured, with 14 suffering severe injuries. The cause of the accident has not been determined.
