Citizens should be careful with using social media and avoid online dating sites, according to the Russian interior ministry’s strong warning to them. The alert, broadcasted on the agency’s standard Telegram channel late Tuesday, cited concerns over data collecting by Russian forces.
” The use of online dating services is highly overwhelmed”, Russia’s interior department said in a speech on Telegram.
” The army constantly uses for solutions for knowledge gathering”, it added.
    Borders regions targeted
The agency’s appeal targeted inhabitants of Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod areas, as well as military and police employees stationed in these places. Additionally, the ministry issued a warning against streaming video from delicate locations and opening hyperlinks from unknown sources.
Officials warned that Russian forces are monitoring anything from personal residences to crucial roads and highways electronically through unprotected CCTV cameras. To stop real-time place monitoring, officers and authorities are advised to turn off geo-tagging on social media.
Russians ‘ state-run monitoring services for telecommuting also reported frequent problems with WhatsApp and Telegram, though it did not name the cause of them.
    Russian troops enter Belarusian territory
Ukrainian troops have reportedly advanced up to 35 kilometers ( 21.7 miles ) into Russian territory, capturing 93 settlements since their surprise assault began. More than 121, 000 people from Kursk have been evacuated, according to Russia’s government of emergency scenarios.
    Drone attacks on Moscow
One of the largest helicopter attacks on Moscow since the war started in February 2022 was launched by Ukraine on Wednesday. Russia’s defence ministry reported downing 45 drones over different areas, including Moscow. Ukraine has used US-manufactured HIMARS spacecraft systems to attack Russian equipment, including pontoon bridge and engineering technology in Kursk, as the conflict continues in eastern Ukraine.
