Recent surveys show that Republicans favor separate presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. more favorably than Democrats. As a result of recent political turbulence, including President Joe Biden’s removal and Vice President Kamala Harris ‘ election, Kennedy’s allies are pressing him to back down and help Trump.
According to the Associated Press, polls show that Kennedy’s presence does n’t significantly impact support for either major-party candidate, as his approval now hovers in the mid-single digits.
    Kennedy’s struggle to maintain speed
Kennedy, the 70-year-old brother of former US Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, is struggling to consolidate his position in a difficult competition. Following his running friend’s discussions about possible endorsing Trump instead, he intends to converse in Phoenix on Friday about” the existing historic time and his way ahead.”
Americans were equally divided in their opinions of Kennedy in a July AP-NORC surveys conducted before Biden left the race, which is a drop from February when more individuals viewed him favorably. About 2 in 10 people in the US lacked the necessary background to form an opinion in the most current ballot.
    Kennedy’s elegance among politicians falters
Republicans and politicians have a stronger opinion of Kennedy than Democrats and politicians. Among those who have a good idea of Kennedy, 52 per share also have a favourable perspective of Trump, compared to 37 per cent for Harris.
Nonetheless, Kennedy has not been successful in winning over democratic politicians. About 4 out of 10 politicians who supported him are still unaware of him, and those who do share their opinions are equally divided between favorable and unfavorable ones.
Legacy of the family fails to force Kennedy ahead
As a potential replacement for Biden and Trump, Kennedy’s primary appeal was one that many citizens hoped to avoid. About 30 % of Kennedy supporters were drawn by his characteristics or policies, according to a Pew Research Center poll in July, while half of those who supported him primarily because he was n’t Biden or Trump.
Harris ‘ ascent to the Democratic candidacy seems to have more hurt Kennedy’s plan. According to a poll conducted in August, Harris may have gained the support of some girls and non-white citizens who might otherwise have supported Kennedy.
Kennedy’s household name has been a major issue in his charm. According to his ties to the Kennedy community, including his father and uncle, former president John F. Kennedy, many Democrats considered supporting him. Despite this, Biden received bipartisan support from various Kennedy family members before resigning from the race.
Legal issues add to Kennedy’s problems
John F. Kennedy still enjoys a high level of support across party lines, with a retroactive approval score from Gallup indicating that 9 out of 10 Americans support his administration. This enthusiasm spans Democrats, politicians, and Republicans everywhere.
A New York judge ruled last week that Kennedy does not look on the state’s vote due to a” fake” address that was listed on voting requests, adding to his social issues. Kennedy has filed an appeal against this ruling and faces a number of related issues throughout the nation.
With diminishing support and increasing issues, Kennedy’s political potential appears ambiguous as his battle contemplates the following steps.
