The Hacienda Community Development Corp ( CDC ), which has received significant funding from the government, is refusing to offer American citizens the same offer to non-citizens as they would tens of thousands of dollars to purchase homes in the state of Oregon.

A post shared by Oregon Citizen, reveals that Hacienda CDC is offering$ 30, 000 in down payment assistance for eligible fresh consumers as part of the firm’s Camino a Casa system.

The website of the organization states that clients work closely with economic instructors and HUD-certified housing counselors throughout the entire homebuying process. In addition to mortgage preparation and economic health workshops, we provide numerous opportunities for down-payment support”.

New owners eligible for the program are required to get pre-approved for a refinance mortgage and are “only for people who are no American people”, such as refugees, green card holders, DACA consumers, and asylum seekers, according to Hacienda CDC.

Sharing photos of the system on social media, Oregon Citizen tweeted,” What do you think Oregon companions? If undocumented people and non-citizens receive$ 30,000 as down payment in Oregon to purchase a home? Check out the demands”!

State Rep. Ed Diehl (R-Oreg. ) Hacienda CDC confirmed to The Daily Caller that it only offered the$ 30,000 down payment system to non-citizens, according to Business Oregon.

” Americans in Oregon are having a hard time finding and purchasing a house. We have a serious housing shortage in this state”, Diehl said. ” I find it revolting that some non-US people are putting their best interests at risk with their hard-earned, minimal tax dollars,” he said. Oregon ca n’t end this state-sponsored discrimination soon enough”.

The Economic Equity Investment Program ( EEIP), which was established as an equity project as a result of the state’s Economic Equity Investment Act ( SB 1579 ), is where the majority of Hacienda CDC’s funding comes from, according to The Post Millennial. The outlet noted that the organization has received funding from the state’s taxpayers in the millions of dollars as well as from the state’s Department of Housing and Urban Development ( HUD).

The Daily Caller reported that the state approved$ 8 million this year to the EEIP to fund companies, such as Hacienda CDC, for” culturally responsive service to support economic stability, self-sufficiency, wealth building, and economic capital among disadvantaged people, families, businesses, and areas”.

Critics have argued that Oregon’s policy makes it possible for Hacienda CDC to discriminate against position residents by excluding Americans from different programs that are funded by the taxpayer.
