    Travel writer Rick Steves, 69, announces prostate cancer diagnosis

    In a post on X, previously Twitter, travel writer and television character Rick Steves emphasized that he anticipates being excellent and that the cancer is not showing any signs of spreading.

    ” My dentist assures me that, if you’re going to get cancer, this is a good form to find, and careful images show no sign of it having spread”, the 69-year-old said in his blog. ” There is a clear way forward to getting healthy, and this fall, I’ll be in the clinic for a few days having gland procedure”.

    Despite the analysis, Steves said he plans to continue traveling for his plans, including filming two fresh indicates in France. He did have surgery in late September at a clinic in Seattle, near his home of Edmonds, Washington, he said.

    ” God willing — ( I’ll ) be cancer-free and back at it by the end of October”, he wrote.

    According to the Atlanta-based&nbsp, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, out of every 100 American people, 13 may develop prostate cancer at some point in their life, with the most popular risk factor being time. For men to make appointments to be screened, especially as they get older, because treatment is most effective if the cancer is discovered early, such as Steves’, can serve as a reminder.
