After suspending his political promotion, former president Donald Trump thanked Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for his support.
Trump addressed a group of restaurant employees and supporters at Il Toro E La Capra, a Las Vegas restaurant, saying,” We simply had a very great support from RFK Jr., Bobby… I want to congratulate everyone, and I want to bless Bobby. That was very great. That’s great. He’s a wonderful man, respected by everyone”.
In a speech in Phoenix, Kennedy criticized the Democrat Party for “abandoning democracy” and engaged in “relentless legal war” against both himself and Trump.
Kennedy’s plan had high hopes in mind when he attempted to challenge Biden for the Democrat election. Kennedy chose to run an impartial plan despite facing many obstacles and what he perceived as restriction from within the group.
This change raised fears among both Biden and Trump supporters, who worried that Kennedy’s appearance might distract votes from their individual prospects.
Kennedy’s plan struggled to maintain momentum despite an initial wave of support, with poll results gradually declining and economic resources running low. These difficulties led to his choice to withdraw from the race and give his assistance to Trump.
