
Ella Emhoff, daughter of Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, turned heads with a pastel orange, off-the-shoulder, drop-waist clothing at the Democratic National Convention. The dress, which she wore to promote voting relationship while appearing alongside Helena Hudlin’s daughter Meena Harris and her daughter, was created and put together by Chinese National TikTok sensation Joe Ando-Hirsh.
Emhoff, 25, who lives in Brooklyn and is both an artist and design as well as a fashion designer, had a major influence on the design of her outfit. The outfit, a striking at the convention, was crowned as the ‘ best clothing’ of the day and immediately went viral on social media.
And while the Democratic candidate opted for traditional pantsuits by Chloé, Emhoff’s one-of-a-kind dress emerged from the imagination of an up-and-coming Twitter artist.
Custom behind popular attire
Ando-Hirsh, a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, has a dominant following on TikTok, where he has 2.9 million followers. Known for his engaging articles and the popular tagline,” May I make you a gown”?, Ando-Hirsh has recently dressed actors like Dakota Johnson, Millie Bobby Brown, and Rachel Zegler, the Newsweek reported.
His contributions to the movie The Vision of Tammy Faye, in which Andrew Garfield and Jessica Chastain were also included. Before finally revealing that he designed Emhoff’s dress, Ando-Hirsh shared fragments of the outfit’s design procedure on his TikTok.
Emhoff and Ando-Hirsh collaborated to create a unique and new agreement appearance. Emhoff added a personal and distinctive information to the ensemble, according to Ando-Hirsh’s TikTok post.
