Individuals are usually briefed by the government’s protection companies on crucial issues they might face if they win the election during political activities. Former US President Donald Trump made the announcement this year that he would not participate in these traditional knowledge briefings for candidates.

And the explanation is really very inventive. He explained his judgement by expressing concern that Democrats would try to defraud him of being the cause of the leaks and then try to accuse him of being the origin of the leaking.

In other words, Trump knew a bait was being set for him.

” I do n’t want them, because, number one, I know what’s happening. It’s pretty easy to see what’s happening”, he told the Daily Mail. ” We have an ignorant head, and we have two ignorant officials. We have a Marxist that’s going to test and be president, and this region is not available for a Communist or a socialist leader, and that’s what she is. She destroyed San Francisco, she destroyed California, and this state is not available for it”.

Trump continued,” So, I do n’t want the briefings because as soon as I get one, they’ll accuse me of leaking it. The best way to control that is to completely avoid the lecture. They come in, give you a lecture, and next two days later, they leak it and responsible you”.

” The only way to solve that problem is not to get the briefing”, he added. ” I do n’t want it, understood? When I return inside, I’ll have plenty of them.

Trump made his comments after a big set-piece talk in Asheboro, North Carolina, where he laid out his federal security interests, including demanding the defections of officers involved in the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Since President Harry Truman first introduced them in the early 1950s, knowledge meetings have been distributed to candidates for president. &nbsp,

They are meant to ensure a smooth change of energy and make candidates for office.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence manages the presentations.

And unlike the president’s regular brief, which is when the commander in chief is tasked with bringing up risks to the country and different developments every day, these are typically one-off sessions as circumstances demand.

Previous presidents are also typically given the opportunity to receive briefings to keep them informed of developments in national security.

In 2021, President Biden barred original President Trump from receiving federal safety meetings, citing Trump’s reported “erratic habits”. This choice sparked charges of a double normal, as another former president, including Obama, Clinton, Bush, and Carter, continued to receive such meetings. &nbsp,

Trump was falsely accused of mishandling classified records two years later, but those accusations were dropped last quarter. But, Joe Biden was found to have hacked into confidential information, but largely letting off because Special Counsel Robert Hur feared that Biden had come across as an aged man with a poor memory, and a conviction would be unlikely.
