Musk enlists help of Republican adviser in mission to get more politically involved

Three people with knowledge of the situation, who was the Republican National Committee’s federal industry director during the 2016 cycle, announced that Chris Young, a skilled Republican operative, was chosen to take the position on Wednesday. It was suggested he may serve as a “donor-adviser” to Musk, used to power and guide his political funds.

The action comes as Musk attempts to stir up America PAC, his novel super PAC, which aims to turn out the vote for Republicans. According to the New York Times, original efforts suffered from issues like poor connection and a lack of coordination, which led to the hiring of a new group to maintain operations.

Young’s getting will help to maintain the remodel, pushing through Musk’s aim to boost Republican participation.

Before entirely backing former President Donald Trump immediately after the death effort against him, Musk flirted with Democratic elections for a few years while under the Biden administration. He recently spoke with the previous leader in an X Spaces discussion.
