The New York Times Wonders if the Constitution Is ‘Dangerous’

Have you ever noticed that the extreme left claims to defend the Constitution while also despising it? Jennifer Szalai, a writer of the New York Times books, uses this phrase in the title of her most recent article,” The Constitution is Sacred.” Is It Also Harmful”?

Trump is accused of being a risk to the Constitution in her long article, and she then contends that the Constitution itself is harmful because” Trump owes his democratic rise to the Constitution, making him a recipient of a file that is essentially antidemocratic and, in this day and age, becoming increasingly dysfunctional.”

After losing the popular voting, Trump became president in 2016 with the support of Article II of the Electoral College. He appointed three justices to the Supreme Court ( Article III ), two of whom were confirmed by senators who made up just 44 percent of the population ( Article I ). These three judges helped to overturn Roe v. Wade, a decision that most Americans found disagreeable. In his new book,” No Republic Lasts Forever,” the prominent legal scholar Erwin Chemerinsky writes:” It is important for Americans to see that these problems stem from the Constitution itself.” He is concerned about opinion polls showing” a serious loss of faith in democracy.”

And from there, she cites novels and scholars that argue for abolishing the Constitution. She cites Berkeley Law dean Erwin Chemerinsky’s &nbsp, latest book,” No Republic Lasts Forever”, in which he argues that the Constitution’s strength endangers the country and also explores the possibility of independence, with red and blue state cutting up to form their own places. &nbsp,

A growing chorus now wonders whether we need to be saved from the Constitution, she writes.” Americans have long assumed that the Constitution could save us.

The radical left’s go-to arguments against the Constitution are then introduced by her. First, Szalai laments that it was written entirely by white men.

The delegations created a new document establishing a national government with three branches, the legislative, judiciary, and executive, which serves as a check on the other branches, according to her article. ” The delegates were all white, and they were all men”.

Oh, but she was n’t done. The next step was obviously to relate everything about the Constitution that the left detests to slavery.

I suppose she was unaware that slavery had been ended as a result of the 13th Amendment.

Democrats believe they are morally compelled to upend the Constitution, without making up any doubt. They will use any justification to justify changing it, if not completely eliminating it. Why? Because it does what it is supposed to do, restrict their influence. One of the things they want to do, for example, is abolish the Electoral College. Why? Not because it gave slave states more authority, but because it will make it easier for them to sabotage elections. We will continue to expose the criticism of the Constitution by the left, but Big Tech might censor our efforts. By becoming a VIP member, YOU can change the world.
