
The People ‘s , Liberation Army ‘s , Southern Theater Command will do a joint live-fire drilling on the Chinese side of the , China-Myanmar , borders starting on Tuesday, a spokesperson said on Tuesday night.
Tian Junli, a spokeswoman for Theater Command, announced in a press release that the organization would use both ground and air pushes for the practice.
The drilling aims to analyze the military’s capabilities in recon and early warning, comprehensive blockade and weapons strike, he said.
The service’s soldiers are always prepared to respond to different emergencies, firmly safeguarding national sovereignty, border security, and the protection of people’s lives and property, the speech said.
