Former US president Donald Trump claimed on Sunday that having survived a near-death expertise has strengthened his faith in God. Speaking with Fox News host Mark Levin, Trump said,” If you already believed in God, you believe in God also more”.
The Republican presidential candidate responded to a question about whether he believed he had survived the death test at a July protest in Pennsylvania, saying,” I believe God wants me to help fix our country. Our nation is so ill and destroyed, and maybe that’s why, I’m no sure”.
Formerly, after the shooting event, Trump told reporters that he “was n’t supposed to be here” and was” supposed to be dead”. He said,” By fate or by God, many people are saying it’s by God I’m still here”, as reported by The Guardian.
In the Sunday meeting, Trump also discussed professional opinions on the killing.
” When you speak to professionals, like my children who are shooting professionals, they said there was no possibility the assailant could had missed from that distance”, Trump said. ” I believe he was rushed and hurried because people began to notice that there was a man standing with a gun.”
Guest Levin expressed shock over the fact that the gunman was lying on the roof, calling it” crazy” for him.
Trump praised the Secret Service’s sharp response, stating,” Fortunately, he was taken out quickly. But if he had n’t been, it could have been like the horrific Las Vegas attack, with a shooter in a building firing down into crowds”.
The original President said that he had “every correct” to challenge the findings of the 2020 presidential election.
” My poll numbers go up because it’s so mad. Who has heard that you were charged with influencing a national poll in which you have every right to do so? Trump said. ” You get indicted, and your surveys figures increase.”
Some shots were fired at a protest in Butler County, Pennsylvania, on July 14, sending the occasion into conflict as one shot grazed Donald Trump’s mind. Trump, sporting his trademark red” Make America Great Once” cover, winced and clutched his hearing, which was obviously bleeding along with his cheek. He was quickly led off the step by US Secret Service agents.
