When the Pennsylvania Department of State launched a site in February to” combat harmful propaganda and disinformation” about election dignity, it was kind of odd.

Weird, because, as a check and balance, the media is supposed to watchdog the government ( although too often they do n’t ) and yet this is a government-run website telling the public that the government is doing things right. It’s equivalent to state-run advertising boldly favored by communist regimes. &nbsp,

The Pennsylvania Department of State is currently in need of an Aug. 29 letter from the Republican National Committee ( RNC), asking it to include misinformation on the state website. The Department of State had a golden opportunity to make its site about election misconceptions shine.

The Pennsylvania Democrats ‘ website had a recruitment ad asking for volunteers to join its” Voter Protection Team” to watch the election, according to the RNC. According to a screenshot the RNC saved,” Election Day poll observers must be physically present in Pennsylvania for their shift, but they do n’t necessarily have to be Pennsylvania voters.”

    That is propaganda.

A poll spectator is required by Pennsylvania rules to be a qualified registered voter of the region where the election area for which the watcher was appointed is located. In other words, surveys monitors may reside in the state where they are employed.

The RNC notice stated that” the Democratic Party may be permitted to recruit poll watchers in violation of the law and storm polling locations with unqualified out-of-state poll watchers across the Commonwealth.” We request that your company make a public declaration outlining the requirement for poll watchers to become registered voters in the counties where they are elected. We request further that you update the Department of State’s” FactChecking” webpage with corrections for the PA Dems ‘ misinformation and disinformation.

The RNC even called out the Democrat ask for&nbsp,” First Vote Monitors” to&nbsp, “assist citizens outside Board of Election and dish locations during earlier voting”.

Al Schmidt, the secretary of state for Pennsylvania, who oversaw votes in Philadelphia in 2020, was the subject of the text.

The RNC email stated that when you were a director in Philadelphia, you firmly believed that volunteers may not see any activities at dish election offices, including absentee voting in person. The PA Dems ‘ hiring of” Early Vote Monitors” could cause chaos at satellite election practices, particularly if these monitors try to observe election activity. Please understand the context of permitted activities with regard to study at satellite vote practices and whether the PA Dems ‘ suggested activities are in line with your position as a Commissioner in Philadelphia for the benefit of all candidates and political parties.

A post request for this story was never received by the Pennsylvania Democrats. But the Pennsylvania Democrat Party has reworded its web, and in the method, revealed some of its Election Day plan.

Wannabe volunteers who navigate the volunteer website will be prompted to follow fresh instructions regardless of whether they are standing inside or out. Poll Observers may be present in PA for their move, according to the law. You may be a registered PA voter and hold a copy of the state board of elections ‘ official certificate before you can observe inside the election. PA citizens and non-PA voters may work as outdoor poll watchers ( at least 10 feet outside the electoral place )”.

Campaigning is prohibited by Pennsylvania law within 10 foot of the polling area. But any member of the public may be in the parking lot or on streets, more than 10 feet away — say 11 legs.

This advertisement is a strong sign that Pennsylvanian voters will face intense pressure from many party supporters as they enter the polling place due to its strong recruitment of potential out-of-state volunteers. &nbsp,

The Federalist contacted The Pennsylvania Department of State for comment on this story, but the department did not respond. Additionally, it has not updated the information that was previously posted on the Democratic website by publishing it on the Department of State website, which records allegedly misinformation.
