The 2024 presidential campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday repeated a false allegation against previous president Donald Trump, claiming that the former president called U.S. military soldiers” fools” and “losers,” despite the claim being constantly refuted.

The Atlantic reported that Donald Trump called fallen American service members” suckers” and “losers” and refused to visit their graves in a Tuesday post on X, formerly Twitter. A Fox News reporter after confirmed this, along with former Trump chief of staff John Kelly and four-star public John Kelly.

Four years ago today, The Atlantic reported that Donald Trump called fallen American service members” suckers” and “losers” and refused to visit their graves.

According to The Post Millennial, the bogus claim was first published in 2020 by The Atlantic based on charges made by John Kelly, Trump’s past chief of staff and a retired four-star standard. Kelly claimed that Trump canceled a 2018 visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in Paris, France because the former president did not believe it was significant enough to respect American service members who died in combat. Kelly made the claims after he was fired by Trump, according to The Post Millennial.

According to The Post Millennial, at least a dozen of Trump’s former staff people who traveled with him previously discredited the allegation against him. The outlet even noted that several fact-checking sites, including&nbsp, Snopes, &nbsp, have not been able to verify the charges made by Kelly. The website for Snopes states that it was unable to “independently check the claim.”

Trump made the claim that the tale published by The Atlantic was a “made-up history” in a new interview with former Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan.

” It was made up by a newspaper, and I think it was’ The Atlantic,’ which is a dramatic left publication, and as soon as I heard it, I said,’ That’s a bad thing,'” the former senator told Ryan. ” And you do n’t get rid of it, you know, they make these things and they just use it and use it, the opposing side, they know it’s false. I had twenty-six persons that said it always happened. Who did say that? Who did say that? Nothing would state that.

Despite the unsubstantiated nature of The Atlantic’s says, Trump’s denial of the claims, and several witnesses who debunked the story, the Democratic National Convention, President Joe Biden, and the Harris-Walz battle have continued to push The Atlantic’s narrative that Trump called U. S. military soldiers” fools” and “losers”.
