It is obvious that Kamala Harris ‘ top priority for the legacy media in this election cycle is to use any methods to appoint her to the president. So why should Americans anticipate that they will behave fairly during the Democratic debate against former President Donald Trump on Tuesday evening?
The contest between Trump and Harris may be moderated by community cables David Muir and Linsey Davis, who will host the program on ABC News. The only possibility for voters to witness the two candidates on stage together before early voting in key swing states gives Trump and Harris a crucial chance to identify their particular adversaries before a common election audience is likely to be seen by voters.
With so much on the series, it would be good for Americans to have the assurance that the moderators will maintain impartiality throughout the conversation and refrain from supporting any particular candidate. Unfortunately, both Muir and Davis ‘ track records indicate that is n’t likely to be the case.
A research reportedly found that Muir’s” World News Tonight” software has received both positive and negative protection for Trump in recent months according to a report released by the Media Research Center ( MRC ) on Monday. After analyzing” all 100 campaign stories that aired on ABC ‘s , World News Tonight , from the day Harris entered the race ( July 21 ) through September 6″, MRC purportedly “found 25 clearly positive statements about Harris from reporters, anchors, voters or other non-partisan sources, with zero negative statements — none”.
” That computes to a gravity-defying 100 % positive spin score for the Vice President”, the report reads.
MRC analysts claimed to have discovered” just five clearly positive comments, vs. 66 negative statements” regarding Trump during the same time frame, amounting to” a dismal 7 percent positive (93 % negative ) spin score”.
MRC also brought up earlier on-air incidents where Muir and Davis used left-wing rhetoric and fairly illustrated stories that negatively portrayed Trump.
During an Aug. 19 discussion at the Democratic National Convention, for instance, Davis asked Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Mich., her ideas about Trump’s plans to visit He, Michigan, the noted page of a new neo-Nazi gathering.
” Many people are informed that KKK activists in He marched in the streets wearing white robes and suggested that they supported Donald Trump a month ago. I’m interested to know if you know anything about that relationship and him approaching Howard tomorrow. Davis questioned, omitting the fact that Joe Biden had visited the area in 2021.
The event was hardly the first time Davis has attempted to employ cultural politics to further the media’s” Trump is a bright supremacist” narrative, yet.
In a 2019 meeting, she asked Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams if she believed Trump “is a white supremacist or a bigoted”. She fabricated a rest from network host George Stephanopoulos, a former ally of Bill Clinton, that Trump “refused to denounce light supremacists” in his September 2020 discussion with Biden, a year later.
” Best and he said he had, when he was asked, confident, I did, and then he ended up effectively giving a call to action, saying stand back and have by”, Davis reportedly said. ” That was something that really grabbed my attention and I was — I ca n’t say I was surprised, but I think people, especially in the black community, heard it loud and clear.”
Davis also gave a” softball” interview to Harris last year and hyped the California Democrat” crack]ing ] this second highest glass ceiling” to become vice president several years ago, according to MRC.
Both Davis and Muir have used unscrupulous pro-abortion statements like as “reproductive independence” and the “right to decide” when discussing abortion-related reports. More recently, Muir joyously highlighted Biden’s exit from the 2024 presidential election, apparently saying,” Tonight love is the term for so many people in this country, pointing to Joe Biden today and calling him a soldier who stepped in when politics needed it.”
And these are the “reporters” Americans are supposed to count on to do a good argument?
As documented above, regime-approved advertising exist to do one point: To serve as the advertising arm of the Democrat Party.
If Muir and Davis go out of their way to cover for Harris ‘ radicalism and incompetence on Tuesday night, it would n’t be the least bit surprising. After all, that’s what the internet have been doing persistently since the Democrat oligarchs abruptly selected her as the group’s 2024 candidate.
