Federal Data: Thousands Of Illegals Are Registered To Vote, But In 21 Years DOJ Has Only Prosecuted 35

The Bureau of Justice Statistics reports that the federal government just acted after 35 illegal alien votes were cast in American votes between 2001 and 2021, the most recent year for which information is available.

In contrast, thousands of foreigners have registered to vote in recent years, and at least thousands have been identified as having really cast a ballot, according to the suspectly small quantity of prosecutions. This raises questions about the political intentions of those who support the national election laws.

The Justice Department’s career rates are filled with left-wing demagogues, according to Hans von Spakovsky, director of the Vote Law Reform Initiative at The Heritage Foundation, in an interview with The Federalist.

They believe that the non-registering and voting process is harsh. Plus, many of them thought,’ Well, if they’re registering and voting, it will help our side”, von Spakovsky continued. ” I think that’s plainly the motivation here. That’s why they were n’t interested in pursuing these cases”.

Screenshot of Bureau of Justice Statistics dataset showing 35 trials under 18 U. S. C. 611: Voting by Aliens from 2001 to 2021.

Von Spakovsky described his time working as an vote established in Fairfax County, Virginia, where nearly 300 creatures were discovered on the voter rolls in the only province there who can be found. Additionally, his investigation revealed that 117 of them had really cast ballots.

The Fairfax County election board’s Public Integrity Section, which is tasked with prosecuting these acts, received notification of its results to the Justice Department. That portion was headed by Jack Smith, the exact law enforcement official who was hired by Biden Attorney General Merrick Garland to prosecute former president Donald Trump over concerns regarding the legitimacy of the 2020 election.

Von Spakovsky said,” We took them off the floats and then sent them over to Court, and DOJ did absolutely nothing about it. ” They simply ignored them”.

Despite reporting these individuals to the Justice Department at the time, BJS statistics shows that from 2010 to 2012 zero cases were brought under 18 U. S. C. 611: Voting by Aliens, a legislation passed in the mid-1990s making it a crime for an alien to vote in national elections.

According to the collection, 58 circumstances were closed from 2001 to 2022, the last year from which data is available. How many cases were filed before 2001 is unknown. The Federalist contacted the Justice Department for comment.

Business media outlets and another left-wing organizations are claiming with increasing frequency that foreigners are never casting ballots in considerable numbers in U.S. elections and that these situations are “vanishingly uncommon.” However, despite von Spakovsky’s observation that there are millions of illegal aliens entering the country from its southern border and that tens of thousands of people have registered to vote, it is difficult for many people to feel the DOJ’s trial numbers, even with the apathy.

“]T] he United States has experienced a record number of border contacts since President Biden took office — almost 10 million — many of whom have been released into, or evaded fear while entering, the U. S.”, a parliamentary party of U. S. politicians wrote to Garland in July, asking about protection of 18 U. S. C. 611 since Biden took office. ” Frankly, there are options for and circumstances of non-citizen voting membership, and so the important question is whether the rules against doing so are being enforced by your Department”.

A member of Congress told The Federalist that the DOJ did not respond to the legislators ‘ letter, which shows how the DOJ continues to keep members of Congress in the dark about police statistics. Numerous requests for clarification and clarification of the figures were never responded to by the DOJ.

Next month, Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced Virginia had removed 6, 303 noncitizens from its vote floats, who had either “accidentally or deliberately” registered. Youngkin did not go into specifics about whether those citizens had previously cast ballots, but his condition was one with thousands of noncitizens registered to cast ballots.

In 2019, the state of Pennsylvania admitted it had registered almost 12, 000 noncitizens to voting. Additionally, 58, 000 of them had voted at some point since 1996, according to Texas Secretary of State David Whitley, who had found 95, 000 noncitizens registered at the same time.

Earlier this year, research team Really Facts published a study showing that between 10 percent and 27 percent of noncitizens, or about two to five million, are improperly registered to vote. For more vote information and updates, attend electionbriefing.com.
