On Wednesday, 9/11, Old Joe Biden was “doing 9/11” in New York City. Kamala Harris and Donald Trump were there as well, along with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-Sinister ) and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg (D-Has Been ). Biden, Harris, and Schumer did n’t had Trump shoved into wedges and whisked away to Rikers Island in a display of bipartisan benevolence that is uncommon in these hot days.

The assembled officials, but, could just as well have been commemorating a long-forgotten Civil War challenge. Everyone assumes he must attend an important political event, but the whole thing had the vibe of a real municipal event. The September 11, 2001 terrorism attacks are portion of our past now, but they are not part of our present-day truth. Barack Obama or someone like him may listen,” The early 2000s called,” if someone said that Muslim extremism was a real threat to the United States today. They desire a return to their international policy.
It’s a great joke. In actual life, Obama used it against Mitt Romney in 2012 when he claimed that Russia posed a significant threat to the United States. Obama’s flippancy regarding Russia, but, looks lovely today, and it’s good that seeing the extremism threat as a thing of the past is going to appear lovely before too much as well.  ,
At this point, but, 9/11 was a very long time before, and we have other problems today. The far-left British government is working on criminalizing” Islamophobia”, although it ca n’t explain exactly what that is. Angela Rayner, the deputy prime minister, is being informed by the Network of Sikh Organizations ( NSO ), which has a letter of concern for the country. The ruling Labour Party’s definition of” Islamophobia” would make it illegal to state things like” Muslims spread Islam by the sword.”

The phrase” Islamophobia is rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets gestures of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness” is the repetitive communist farrago of nonsense. The Sikhs correctly stated that “adoption of this disputed definition into law may have serious effects on free speech, not the least of which would be the ability to examine traditional truths.” It would also penalize any fair discussion of why the 9/11 problems happened, who perpetrated them, and what they intended to accomplish. It would not make it illegal to hear someone scream” Allahu akbar” while detonating a weapon, but it would make it illegal to find out that one did so while detonating a weapon.
Whatever happens with Britain’s tries to penalize” Islamophobia”, it’s obvious that there has been a sea change since 9/11. The problem is never jihad evil, it’s being concerned about warfare terror. Two people are being tried in Sweden for desecrating the Qur’an. Burning a guide, whatever its repulsive organizations, has never been a murder in the modern West, it has been understood as an important aspect of the freedom of expression. But no more. The Swedish authorities were unaware of the significance of the Qur’an’s burning as a form of jihad-related crime.
On false notions, an illegal immigrant on the terror watch list attempted to enter the Quantico Marine base. Nobody is mainly worried, and some people even know what transpired. Nobody knows how many people on the FBI’s terror watch list crossed the vanishing borders without being apprehended. Exactly 190 people on the watch list were caught at the border in 2023.

Here again, the problem is an abstraction until someone gets hurt, and at that place, it will be too late. America is much more concerned with ensuring that kids can transition to female ‘ sports and win awards for their achievements than with preventing another devastating jihad terror attack. The people who ought to be in charge of preventing such an assault are e-mailing us about a terror threat from” light supremacists.”
The 9/11 episodes may as well have happened on September 11, 1001. Despite the focus that is paid to their main reasons and the likelihood that they could be repeated, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the president of Turkey, praised the success in a struggle that actually took place about a century before, the Battle of Manzikert in 1071. However, Erdogan is one of the few individuals who can recall Manzikert or understand why it was so significant. You can read about the Battle of Manzikert, then called Malazgirt, in my guide,  , Empire of God: How the Empire Saved Society. In that fight, which took place in the year 1071, the Seljuk Turks smashed the troops of the Roman Empire, devastating it to the amount that the whole of Anatolia, which had been the homeland of the kingdom, was available for their invasion.

This war, in other words, paved the way for the property, a cradle of Hellenic society, to become what is now Turkey. The Turks are still in the process of completing the cultural cleansing of the indigenous Iranian, Greek, and Assyrian people of Anatolia, most of whom they have by then forcibly converted to Islam, driven into exile, or killed. One of the most important conflicts in world history, but now almost no Westerners are aware of how it occurred or what its value means.

9/11 is getting to be like Manzikert, in every respect: it set in motion enormous shifts in world culture, most of which were not quickly felt, and then neither its factors nor its effects are properly understood. And so the ground is set for even more wars like it.
