The Kamala Harris plan refuses to publish if it would stand by and remain, perhaps increase, President Joe Biden’s best-known immigration plans.
After being chosen as the Democratic presidential candidate, Vice President Harris publicly stated her scheme positions on her blog’s issues page, but the site ignores what she plans to do regarding immigration and the boundary.
Given her history of support for a 50 % reduction in immigrant detention among other progressive immigration initiatives, Harris ‘ campaign did not respond to several requests for comment on Thursday and Friday.
In the 2020 election, Biden’s second moves came after making his campaign promises. He rescinded the Trump administration’s Live in Mexico scheme, which mandated that asylum seekers reside in Mexico through court proceedings rather than be deported to the United States.
Within days of taking company, Biden put an end to all arrests, including those involving criminals who were previously residing in the United States and who were ordered to be expelled by governmental authorities.
Congress’s authorization of more than 350 miles of border wall building during the Trump administration was likewise halted by Biden. Within weeks, Biden officially killed the money, leaving many pieces of metal beams rusting up and down the southern borders, updated.

Biden used his authority to forbid immigrants from seeking asylum if they were intercepted by national police never at a port of entry, affecting mostly those who cross the Mexican border by foot or by swimming.
Harris has praised her strategy as a “new way forwards,” not giving credit to her bosses for the past few years, leading people to assume her direction will be unique and “new.”
The battle website generally consists of Harris’s function as San Francisco city attorney, California legislator, and vice president— never her plans for the White House, if elected.
The website’s outline for how Harris will “SECURE OUR BORDERS AND FIX OUR BROKEN IMMIGRATION SYSTEM”, states that she believes in” tough, smart solutions” to secure the border, keep communities safe, and reform our broken immigration system.  ,
” As Vice President, she supported the bipartisan border security bill, the strongest reform in decades”, the issues page states. To protect our border, the legislation would have added 1,500 border security agents and expanded detection technology to intercept fentanyl and other drugs.
Republicans have criticized the addition of more agents as simply facilitating the arrest and release of illegal immigrants into the United States rather than deterring or removing them. Additionally, Harris refuses to say how she would handle surges in illegal immigration.
She will reauthorize and pass the bipartisan border security bill as president. She also recognizes the shortcomings of our immigration system and calls for comprehensive reform, including strong border security and a recognized pathway to citizenship, according to the page, which is in line with comments she has made in a campaign video.

Sen. James Lankford (R-OK ) stated in an interview with the Washington Examiner that he and Sen. It was unlikely to be revived next year by Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Kirsten Sinema (I-AZ ) because it addressed a particular issue and need, which is different from what is happening now.
Harris has not stated how she would implement an “earned” pathway for illegal immigrants to become lawful permanent residents with the aim of obtaining citizenship.
