Even as Democrats claim that her own speech contributed to the next assassination attempt of past president Donald Trump, Vice President Kamala Harris is calling for” legal speech.”
Harris appeared on the Spanish-language programme, which runs on more than 100 television channels, to render her situation to Spanish citizens. But her calling for civic speech are dishonest, according to many Republicans, including Trump.

Ryan Wesley Routh waited for Trump for several hours on Sunday evening at Trump’s Florida golf course while concealing himself with a shotgun. The alleged death test, the next against Trump since July, was thwarted when Secret Service agents intervened.
In a post on X, Routh retorted, “democracy is on the ballot and we cannot gain,” a phrase that Harris has frequently used while campaigning.
Similar arguments have been made by people in Trump’s circle that claim that language that accuses Trump of being a despot or a threat to the country may lead to violence.

Democrats have advocated for Trump’s protection following the attempted assassination, but the majority have not specifically sought to reduce political rhetoric.

President Joe Biden said Monday morning that the Secret Service needs , more assistance , in the aftermath of the second attack on Trump.
” One thing I want to make clear is:  , The service needs more help. And I think Congress should respond to their need”, he told reporters.
