Another Look at the United Nations

In his monumental The Square and the Tower, historian Niall Ferguson contends that hierarchies ensconced in ( metaphorically ) high towers have claimed to be in charge of the world and manage its affairs, but that actual innovation and change are the result of a network society that exists in the public square. However, this distinction is no longer as appropriate as it may noise. One of its main meaning segments is the United Nations, which, as Thomas Sowell may put it, is a castle inhabited by the blessed group of international raptors. The tower continues to rule, exerting its malevolent control, and dominates.

A recent example of the UN’s reach for world hegemony is its much-ballyhooed Summit for the Future ( alternatively, the Pact for the Future ). The agreement, according to the Free Humanity motion, focuses global influence on pressing issues like climate change, modern governance, and human right in the hands of a select few. It attempts to improve the re-invention of the social universe as a globalist autocracy while undermining the ability of nations to decide their own policies through limited political oversight and citizen involvement. The focus will slide on the banning of so-called “disinformation” and “misinformation” — fully vague categories intended to suppress public opposition — and the implementation of greater restrictions on free speech. &nbsp,

What else has this admired firm recently been off to? As Rick Moran reports for PJ Media,” Volker Türk, the U. UNRWA ( United Nations Relief and Works Agency ), as we now know, has worked with Hamas for a long time and also participated in the terrible incursion into Israel on October 7. &nbsp,

The UN is clearly a rogue organization that has no business meddling in international affairs and, in fact, has no longer has any credible reason to exist, like the World Health Organization ( WHO ) and the World Economic Forum ( WEF), with which it is intimately linked. It has long gone from its original intent of bringing together international protagonists and advocating for the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms. It has turned into the very opposite of its foundation charter, supporting the worst stars on the global stage and encouraging severe canards like COVID-19 and alleged Jewish malfeasance to deceive the public and strengthen its authority. We recall as well that the UNHRC’s ( United Nations Human Rights Council ) 2005/8 Resolution 7/36, supported by the Muslim and American member countries and still in power, imposed limitations on the freedom of personal appearance. The goal was to change international law to bring it closer to Islamic law, tarnishing freedom of expression with a moratorium on “defamation of religion,” which is regarded as blasphemy against Islam. Judaism and Christianity are unrelated in any way. The Council features two agendas at its annual session: one devoted to Israel, the other to the rest of the world. The United Nations is regarded as a trustworthy and legitimate quasi-judicial body on the international stage by its own bias alone. By this point, it is well known that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation ( OIC ) and despotic governments are largely under the control of the UN, which is what is expected to be. &nbsp,

As Moran concludes his article,” The UN is becoming more and more irrelevant”, though it is no less toxic than it has been for the better part of a century. Without the corruption, lying, hypocrisy, and economic parasitism that come with such a bloated and pointless a system, the world would be a marginally saner place. The UN has been accused of becoming a “multi-tentacled Leviathan that seeks to decide what each nation state should do and how the people of the world should live,” according to Argentini president Javier Milei. He is absolutely right, continuing:” We have seen how]the United Nations], born to defend the rights of man, has been one of the main proponents of the systematic violation of freedom, as — for example— with the global lockdowns in the year 2020, which should be considered a crime against humanity” .&nbsp,

The only reason, plainly delinquent, for the UN’s continued existence is that it furnishes a lucrative sinecure for a pampered and decadent elite, along with a horde of redundant functionaries, who revel in its perquisites. This is a freebie that the compromised leaders of nations and international organizations, as well as the legions of state officials, have no intention of surrendering. For the UN, which purports to arbitrate global tensions and lobby for” sustainable development,” represents a second career that can rival the first, or something that resembles a bankable retirement fund for our political, economic, corporate, and administrative predators.
