At the University of Central Florida, there are roughly four Democratic faculty for every Democratic professor.
At the University of Central Florida, Democratic professors are outnumbered by their Democratic counterparts, though by a smaller percentage than those at other institutions.
After reviewing 268 full professors across the open university in Orlando, The College Fix determined the involvement of 117 academics. Through a request for public documents, The Fix obtained voter registration information from Orange County.
Of those 117 identified citizens, 66 are registered Liberals, 16 are Republican, one is a Green Party member, two are Independents, one is in the Libertarian Party, and 31 are declared as” No Party Affiliation”. Another 151 could not be identified.
Broken down to the two major parties, 19 percentage of identified faculty are Democratic while 81 percent are Democrat.
The Fix analyzed 20 people university ministries and programs, and a collapse of many of them is provided at the article’s conclusion. However, some programs are smaller in terms of professors and are group together at the end to shield identities. The Fix merely looked at academics, no adjuncts, lecturers, ad, or staffers.
The Fix cross-referenced against public knowledge, such as curriculum vitae and study papers, to suit names with licenses. Another information, including estimated delivery time, was matched against holiday information included in the election data.
To guard their privacy and prevent double counting, professors who teach in several departments were merely counted again in their main area of study. As faculty are listed in one department but does teach courses under another key, there may be crossover in some departments.
The archaeology, English, and anthropology departments all lack an identifiable Democratic teacher.
In the past year, time archaeology head Ty Majetowsky did not respond to two letters and a warning message left at the department’s business. The Fix questioned if the findings were unexpected and accurately depicted the department’s overall social climate, if there might be a root cause for the gap, and if he would be interested in further investigation into the department’s lack of Republican academics. His division has six Liberals on file, but no Republicans.
Sociologists doctor Jason Ford did not respond to emails that were sent in the past two about the office he chairs. His office has four listed Democrats and no Republicans. A worker transferred a telephone call to Ford’s voice on Monday, Oct. 28.
Additionally, English seat James Campbell did not respond to two emails sent in the previous year. A worker in the office said told , The Fix on the phone she had tell Campbell of the issues on Monday, Oct. 28.
The Fix contacted some academics who appeared to be registered Democrats to ask for confirmation on reply, but, nothing responded.
Republican professor says he’s ‘ always had a real concern’ with his acquaintances
One of the two Republican officials in the criminal justice system sent more comments to The Fix via internet.
Professor Stephen Holmes told The Fix,” I am registered as a Republican, but I have also been registered as a Democrat in the past. ” I do not completely by group, but rather based on the character and rules of the candidate.”
In response to a question about the general atmosphere for conservatives on campus and whether their voices are being heard, Holmes responded,” I really do n’t talk about it at work.”
He said more:
My relationships at work are based on my regard for other people’s rights and ideas. I’ll say that more democratic people frequently are more open to discussing their political values. They are a lot, in my opinion.
When asked about trends on campus to respect political beliefs, Holmes responded,” I do n’t like that this stuff has been brought on campus.”
” With none of my university acquaintances, I have never had a true problem.” He claimed that it is inappropriate for instructors to disclose their personal beliefs. ” I am an open book. However, I do n’t think that my conservative ancestors are radical in any way. I’d prefer to say that I lean best, but I may see most problems from both sides.
Some agencies are essentially unrelated; for instance, the social science ministry has three Democrats and two Republicans.
Four Republicans make up the open management office, compared to two Liberals.

The school has also had its good share of withdraw attempt against professors, yet.
Alvin Quackenbush, an alternative teacher, attempted to cancel his 2020 bid against Democratic state representative Anna Eskamani in 2020 when he referred to COVID-19 with the term” Wuhan Corona virus.” He survived the test and remains an alternative in the college of politics, protection, and global affairs.
After the class attempted to flame him, psychology professor Charles Negy had to win the cancellation after he criticized “black opportunity,” but the decision was overturned in arbitration.
Additionally, students objected to the firing of history teacher Kenneth Hanson because he dresses up as various figures in videos about historical events and occasionally darkens his body.
The school has more Republican in its reviewed departments than other red state universities, though. According to a College Fix study, Democrats outnumber Republicans at the University of Florida 7 to 1. Democrats outnumber Republicans 17 to 1 at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, a , Fix study concluded.
The Fix  has chosen to keep the names on its calculator private from Democratic academics in order to protect the identities of its readers.
