According to the news organization ANI, the deputy director of the Mayor’s Office for International Affairs, Dilip Chauhan, highlighted the significance of the selection, praising group leaders and activists for their years of dedication.
” With 1.1 million students in the state’s schools, this is a great step ahead”, Chauhan stated, acknowledging the problems faced by families celebrating Diwali while balancing school agreements.
” This year, students wo n’t have to choose between their education and celebrating this important festival”, he added.
President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden celebrated their ultimate Diwali as President and First Lady at the White House on October 28th. They hosted their party at the White House in Washington. Indian-Americans from across the US attended, bringing a unique touch to this year’s activities.
