This year, I had the pleasure of sitting down for a polite conversation with Sam Harris, network of the” Making Sense” radio, to discuss the issue of the hour: Trump vs. Harris. Bari Weiss of The Free Press moderated the discussion. Sam is, of course, an extremely intelligent man, he’s even a person with a base set of values. He openly acknowledged his own disapproval of many of Kamala Harris ‘ plan statements. He ultimately argued that he would support Harris because of one negative fact: Donald Trump could not be leader because of his pranks regarding Election 2020.

I took the opposing perspective.
While openly acknowledging that Trump’s behaviour between Nov. 4, 2020, and Jan. 6, 2021, was bad, I argued that the Constitutional checks and balances had held and may continue to do so. In addition, Donald Trump should be elected, according to my argument, because his presidency was much more effective for the United States than her sin presidency.
Under Trump, the Middle East was beginning to blossom into genuine peace thanks to the Abraham Accords and a contained Iran. Under Trump, the economy boomed, inflation remained small, employment growth was steady, and border remained moderate.
Under Harris, the country’s economy had experienced the highest prices rates in four decades, the frontier had been deliberately left open, with at least 6.5 million illegal immigrants entering the country, Afghanistan had been handed over to the Taliban in the most vile and evil manner possible, resulting in billions in lost defense systems and 13 American servicemembers had been killed, Iran had launched its proxies against Israel, starting on October 7, continuing with a wave of rocket fire from Lebanon via Hezbollah, and various Egyptian attacks had

So, in short, Sam argued against Trump, I argued for Trump and against Harris.
You may notice an argument missing in this formulation: the argument , for Kamala Harris.
That’s because the argument does n’t exist.
You can argue against Trump, you can argue for him. But , nobody can credibly argue in favor of Kamala Harris.
Not even Kamala Harris.
That’s been the story of her campaign: what she ‘s , not. She’s not Donald Trump. Fair enough. She’s not Joe Biden. Fair enough. However, besides not being physically Joe Biden, she ca n’t explain how she would be different from Biden. She ca n’t answer what she would do to improve the country, every time she’s asked, she resembles a 10th-grader informed there’s a pop quiz on a book she has n’t read.
And it’s still a mystery whether Kamala Harris ‘ support for becoming president comes from their disapproval of Donald Trump. They attempted that formula in 2020, and it led to the worst presidency since Jimmy Carter’s. The American people might want to hear a compelling affirmative case for the Democratic nominee for president this time, someone who, unlike Biden, did not receive a single vote in the primaries and who was sneaked in at the last minute to stop Biden’s impending collapse in the polls.

Will Kamala Harris become president? If she does, it wo n’t be because of Kamala Harris. She’s a nothing, an empty vessel, a fresh coat of paint slapped on the beat-up jalopy of the Biden administration. Americans might be able to quickly determine the answer to Trump and Harris given the choice that is so obviously in front of them:
Were you better off in 2019 than in 2024?
