Kamala Harris, the vice chairman, and a member for the Democratic nomination for president, were both photographed at a closed-door campaign event at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Thursday. The activist, who accused Israel of murder, interrupted Harris’s speak to a group of individuals. The trade was captured on video and initially reported by Fox News while the function was closed to reporters.
Only The News information on the exchange during which the activist, wearing a keffiyeh, challenged Harris on Israel’s activities in the ongoing issue. While the original opinion was not captured on the picture, Harris’s response was.
” I know what you’re speaking of. I want a cease-fire. The prisoner offer must be reached, please. I want the war to end”, Harris responded.
” But what about the murder? What about the murder though”? the activist made an appearance.
Harris maintained calm, replying,” I value your right to speak, but I’m speaking best now”, as much of the crowd cheered. Before the rebel was removed, he continued, shouting,” How about the billions of dollars to Israel? What about the 19, 000 children dead, and you wo n’t call it a genocide”?
After the protester’s treatment, Harris addressed the place, apparently acknowledging his problems. ” Hear, what he’s talking about, it’s true. That’s not the issue that I came to explore today, but it’s true, and I esteem his tone”.
The change quickly garnered reaction, especially from David Friedman, past U. S. adviser to Israel during the Trump presidency. Friedman criticized Harris in a letter to the New York Post, saying that” Kamala Harris only publicly supported the false and cruel claim that Israel is engaging in genocide.”
Friedman went on to say,” Several, including myself, often suspected that she held this twisted, racist view of Israel’s self-defense against Hamas savagery. However, the kitten has then left the bag.
He added that her comments prevented her from running for office, saying that” Her watch is as ignorant as it is malevolent.” Harris is disqualified from holding any public business, let alone the presidency, because to provide cred cred to this obscene blood libel in public.
In response to the discussion, a spokeswoman for Harris’s campaign merely responded that” That is not the perspective of the Biden-Harris Administration or the Vice President”.
