LeBron James, the NBA singer, publicly endorsed Kamala Harris on Thursday in a social media post.
James shared a video on Instagram and X, which features notes made by artist Tony Hinchcliffe aka Kill Tony at a recent rally in Madison Square Garden.
Tony and a Black buddy are seen laughing at the same time in the picture making a bigoted joke about combining “watermelons.” The video further follows Trump’s statement saying,” No, I am not a racist”.
He wrote on his social media manages,” What are we even talking about below?? The option is apparent to me when I consider my children, my family, and how they will develop up. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!! “!
Additionally, the film contains excerpts of American Americans being assaulted and different headlines that claimed Trump spewed “nazi language.” Additionally, James also uploaded a picture that combines footage from the former president’s most recent rally at Madison Square Garden with images from a number of decades-old civil rights protests and crimes. Trump was made to sound discriminatory in the video’s conclusion, which read,” Hate takes us back.”
In response to the cultural unrest and repression following the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, James is no man to playing a part in presidential politics. He founded the organization More Than a Voting in 2020.
Hillary Clinton was supported by James in the 2016 presidential poll, and Joe Biden in the 2020 campaign.
