After a DNA test, a 24-year-old woman in northern China discovered she is not her parents ‘ biological daughter, which was spurred by colleagues ‘ complaints that she “did not look local.” Netizens who support her have urged her to search for her baby home in the wake of the discovery.
Dong, from Xinxiang in Henan province, shared her story in an appointment, as reported by Henan Broadcasting System. Her colleagues frequently criticized her peculiar look, which ultimately led to her unexpected discovery.
” I’ve always lived in Xinxiang, but after I started working, my coworkers had say,’ You do not seem like us at all. Your eyes are larger and deeper than ours, your lips are heavy, and your head is large. You do not seem like one from Henan at all,'” Dong recalled. She asked her parents for responses after being irked about their feedback, but they only gave vague indications about her birthdate. Growing more confused, Dong decided to take a DNA check.
” Every day, I kept wondering, where do I truly come from”? Dong reflected. The benefits suggested she was most likely from southwestern China’s Guangxi state and had no biological ties to Henan.
A federal organization known as Baobei Huijia, which specializes in bringing together lost family members, has mobilized to help with DNA testing. Chinese citizens expressed desire for a meeting, with one person saying,” Wishing this young lady finds her delivery family quickly and sending kisses to her” as reported by the South China Morning Post.
Following media policy, a person from Guangxi, surnamed Qi, reached up to Dong, believing she could get her long-lost child. It’s a bit of a fluke that this young lady is 24. I look at her and think she resembles my child in every way, but I have never seen my child since she was born. I cried to my father every morning, wondering where my daughter went, after giving birth, in excruciating pain,” said Qi. Her child has already begun calling Dong his girlfriend, saying,” My dad is almost 100 per cent positive, and I want to get my sister to”.
