Harris-Walz even sent mail to kids bashing Trump
The Kamala Harris national strategy sent students at the University of Georgia text messages and postcards urging them to voting for her.
Following preliminary reports from Arizona State University’s CRs book, school Democrats at UGA confirmed with The College Fix that Georgia pupils had received these scriptures.
Kamala Harris ‘ campaign has texted 100, 000+ Georgia kids and some of her friends, according to a blog on X from College Republicans at ASU.
The Fix contacted the ASU book to ask for comment via email and phone calls, asking how the party had checked the number of students who had received these writings. The ASU section did not respond.
College Republicans at UGA, Chairman Luke Winkler, sent The Fix pictures of a word he received.
” Hi Dawgs, it’s Kamala Harris”, it reads, a reference to the school’s bulldog mascot.
” Tim Walz and I are the losers in this election, but scholar voters may make the difference. To succeed, we require your assistance. As a University of Georgia scholar, you can record and vote in Georgia”, it reads in part.
Although he” cannot confirm a common pattern across the state,” Brenton Sykes, the UGA College Republicans outreach chairman, reported to The Fix via email that he and many of his friends did get this message.
” I assume if they were targeting me, a Republican, they were not limiting their reach”, he said.
” I really do know how they got my email data, considering I have always donated to any Democrat allow only Harris, and my phone number if n’t get public information on my vote profile”, Sykes told The Fix.
He added that he hopes” the Harris battle just paid a consulting company that did the searching for people who were enrolled at University in Georgia and had them cross referenced with some hidden files that all political campaigns have.”
I do believe the Harris campaign was able to obtain detailed contact information for all students, whether for a public purpose or for a more active reason,” Sykes said.
He added that he was also sent physical copies of “pro-Harris literature” that detailed her economic and entitlement programs, as well as former president Donald Trump.
Although I ca n’t say how many students receive these mailers beyond me, Sykes said,” I suspect these were sent to the same students who received the texts and received my information the same way.”
These are not wise investments because college students are n’t going to be persuaded to vote or be targeted by a mailer, he said.

UGA College Republicans ‘ events coordinator, Chaston Atkins, told The College Fix in a phone interview that he also received text messages and mail from the Harris campaign, but has” no clue…how they’re doing it”.
He said the campaign may be using” social media or some sort of algorithm” that could be AI-assisted.
When asked about the campus climate for free speech and political viewpoints, Atkins said it has been “hostile” at times.
He claimed that his organization has hosted events where left-leaning and pro-Palestinian organizations have harassed the speakers and invited conservative guests like Congressman Mike Collins and political pundit Charlie Kirk.
During the event with Collins, protesters “were yelling at him” and” calling him a murderer”. They accused him of “wanting to kill Palestinian children” and other “baseless accusations” to “intimidate him and berate him and our students”, Atkins said.
However, the school as a whole, according to Sykes, is not “particularly politically biased”.
” I would n’t be surprised if UGA had a more favorable voting split than we anticipated,” Sykes told The Fix.
The Fix also reached out to Coweta County Republican Party Chairman Brandt Frost, Georgia Association of College Republicans, University of Georgia Republican Party Chairman Brandt Frost, GSU political science professor Jennifer McCoy, and UGA privacy law professor Thomas Kadri for comment last week via email and phone. None responded.
The Fix was referred to by UGA media relations to the University System of Georgia, which did not respond to emails or voicemails.
Georgia State University media relations also did not respond to a request for comment in order to find out if students at the university also received texts and mailers.
Sykes claimed that the school is not biased politically, but it does appear to have at least a sizable number of Trump supporters. Conservative political analyst Benny Johnson posted a video to X last month that showed a” sea” of Trump supporters on UGA campus.
He remarked,” This is how Kamala’s pathetically futile efforts to engage young voters were received today at the University of Georgia” in a statement.
A SEA of college students yell” USA!” in ravenously while wearing MAGA hats. Johnson stated.
The Harris campaign texts not just from Georgian students. According to previous reports from The College Fix, ASU administrators reported that 70, 000 students at the university received similar texts.
In response, Republican state Sen. Jake Hoffman announced he will immediately launch a “full Senate investigation”, citing a “major security breach” of Arizona law.
Additionally, ASU Religious Studies Professor Owen Anderson shared a screenshot of a text message he received encouraging university employees to cast ballots for Democrats on X Monday.
” Join actress Sophia Bush, Sen. Mark Kelly, Rep. Gabby Giffords, Emma Brown, and Former US Amb. Susan Rice today at 11: 45 AM outside the Memorial Union to chat about early voting on campus and voting for Kamala Harris, Ruben Gallego, and Democrats up and down the ballot”, the text reads.
” A clear violation but no one will be held responsible”, Anderson stated.
The Harris-Walz campaign has also emailed students at UW-Whitewater and UW-Madison.
