Kamala Harris made the pledge this weekend in Michigan that she would “do everything in my power to achieve… a two-state option where Palestinians will have the right to self-determination.” Harris had previously stated that she had hoped to “work towards a two-state option” by claiming to have hoped to capitalise on Yahya Sinwar’s passing.
Israeli leadership is nevertheless making it clear that a state like this would be merely a means of committing genocide against the Jews.
For instance, PA President Mahmoud Abbas made the decision to travel to Qatar to give respect to the two brothers of the later Hamas arch-terrorist Ismail Haniyeh. He” conveyed his condolences” to the sons, and “re-called] Haniyeh’s ] virtues on the path of the Palestinian national struggle”, according to Official PA TV News. In other words, Abbas acknowledged that he shares Hamas ‘ genocide goals and deeds.
Additionally, Fatah extremists in Gaza praise Hamas. These terrorists just uploaded a picture in which the group is demonstrating how to make bombs to honor Hamas ‘ October 7, 2023 harm. A box of cement in the movie is labelled” The Al-Aqsa Flood Battle – Oct. 5, 2024″. Moreover, the walls of the substances have signs and artwork on them stating:” The Al-Aqsa Flood Battle – engineering and production tree – Al-Aqsa]Martyrs ‘ ] Brigades, Al-Amoudi Division – Oct. 5, 2024″,” A free and Muslim Palestine”,” We will continue to attack”, and” The job will go quickly – Oct. 5, 2024″. It is clear who Fatah is supporting as Israel continues to crush Hamas in Gaza.
In Judea and Samaria, Fatah members share a similar ideology mindset. Fatah Movement Central Committee part Tawfiq Tirawi argued that the PA if promote, no jail, terrorists:” My personal view is that the arrest of these young people is a mistake. Instead, we must have this condition, contain these young people and teach them…We have young folks full of patriotic passion to fight]Israel], but they lack training and experience, and therefore they must get training”. Additionally, Tirawi called for Fatah to” clean our house of collaborators”, presumably, those that engage in security cooperation with Israel as required under the Oslo Accords.
And lastly, the Palestinian Authority criticized Iran’s recent strike against Israel…because it did n’t inflict mortal damage on the Jewish State. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, the head of the PA’s Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations, lamented that Iran’s attack on Israel “did not ] reach ] a level that could threaten Israel and]did not ] cause damage that might prevent Israel from continuing its aggression. A columnist complained that the recent Israeli strike by Iran against Israel did not cause enough damage and that it “did not kill even one Zionist.” In contrast, the columnist praised a shooting attack that killed seven Israelis as a” self-sacrificing operation”.
Whom and what ends does Kamala Harris support when she continues to support a Palestinian state?
