In the US state of Guam, former president Donald Trump was defeated by vice president Kamala Harris, but this poll does n’t factor into the Electoral College. However, this fresh surveys accurately predicts the success of the popular voting, which means that the candidate who receives the Guam straw poll will win the popular vote. According to reports, Harris defeated Trump 49.45 % to 46.22 %. In 2020, Joe Biden defeated Trump in this ballot by 14 per centage items.
Because Guam is a US area nation in Micronesia in the Western Pacific, it is not a condition, and therefore, it is ineligible to choose its own people for the Electoral College. Its straw poll results, which have been held every four years since 1980, are non-binding and do n’t count towards the Electoral College.
In 2016, Hillay won the straw poll with 71.6 per share and Trump was at 24.2 per cent, In 2020, Biden won the poll with 55.4 per share and Trump was at 41.9 per cent.
Dixville Notch, a small town in northern New Hampshire, was the first to announce the results of the US presidential election. It only took 12 hours to qualify and confirm the vote of the six residents of this area close to the Canadian border. It was a 3-3 link between Trump and Harris. Dixville Notch’s effect, though smaller, marked a significant change from 2020 when all five seats went to Joe Biden.
Dixville Notch, in the White Mountains, started its first election in 1960. The custom was first introduced in the nearby village of Hart’s Area to provide rail employees who had to be at work before the usual voting hours.
According to The Guardian, Dixville lacks the popularity to forecast the future champion. Hillary Clinton defeated Donald Trump by four seats to two in this town in 2016.
