Donald Trump again suddenly swept Florida, and with more than 95 percent of the voting tallied in Osceola County, Trump is leading Kamala Harris 50.2 percent to 48.7 percent. That percentage may not seem very important at first glance, but for two reasons, it’s great.
Second, subsequent history demonstrates that Republicans are performing poorly in this region of Florida. In 2016, Osceola County broke for Hillary Clinton by a staggering 25 items. In 2020, Joe Biden carried it by a powerful 14 points. Today, only four years later, it’s essentially a link, with a moderate Republican advantage.  ,
Second, almost 1 in 3 region people is Puerto Rican, as of 2020. In reality, Osceola County, more than half of which is Spanish, represents the largest concentration of Puerto Ricans outside the U. S. area place.  ,
During Donald Trump’s huge rally in Madison Square Garden, attack graphic Tony Hinchcliffe said that the country is essentially a floating pile of trash, along with other jabs made at somebody else’s expense. Trump’s opponents, however, reacted by rejecting their claims that Democrats make up the group of harmony and morality. Before Biden tore Puerto Rico, it eventually became a fundamental component of Democrats ‘ final text.  ,
On a Harris campaign call with Latino voters at the end of October, Biden went on a Puerto Rico tangent and ended up calling Trump supporters, also known as half the country, “garbage” . ,
” The only garbage I see floating out there is]Trump’s ] supporters”, Biden said. Ouch.
The most populous state in the states increased its help for Donald Trump by double digits exactly one year later. You know, you’d assume the Puerto Ricans— who fled their filth place for a better life in the states, especially after the disaster of Hurricane Maria — had n’t self-identify as “garbage” Trump electors. And already.
They are n’t the only Hispanics to get behind Trump. If history is preface, they’re part of a larger trend and Democratic restructuring. Trump won the majority of Spanish votes in 2016 while capturing 28 percent of them, but his share increased to 38 percent after four times. As the left-leaning Brookings Institute reported after the 2020 election:
Perhaps the most significant aspect of the 2020 election is the changing Spanish voting. Although many observers believed that Mr. Trump’s tough policies at the border would drive Hispanics away from his candidacy, his share of the Hispanic vote jumped by 10 points, from 28 to 38 %.
If styles continue, Trump may be looking at another big jump this poll.
Osceola is just one state in Florida. But it’s a majority-minority region that used to crack for Democrats but presently backs Republicans, in a former swing position that’s then ruby-red. Now that Tuesday night, Florida is so dark that it also rejected dramatic abortion and cannabis amendments, it is so red.
Even Osceola County effects are unfeasible. Or maybe they’re just one more sign that Democrats ‘ “racism” pearl-clutching, empty promises, and broken policies do n’t work for nonwhite voters anymore.
