Opinion: When some kids eventually learn the truth about sex, some feel abandoned and depressed.
St. Norbert’s College will then recognize that there are only two women, but the shift has left kids confused.
According to a report from The College Fix, the Wisconsin Catholic school will no longer understand both men and women in its plan.
There are only two women, according to the Catholic Church, “male and feminine He created them” as one example.
Additionally, there are numerous records and statements that have previously supported the gender binary in Catholic Church training. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops ‘ ( USCB) report from 2023 contains lots of quotes from just the past ten or so.
But unfortunately, some individuals have not learned this, despite attending a Catholic university. So, they believe it is a “new” Catholic idea.
” What’s going to happen to this whole office if the class is saying that they’re following the new Catholic view and perception method of there’s only two, there’s only two women”, Gracelyn Griese, a gender studies modest, said in response to the plan. According to the rebel New Ways Ministry, she said,” That goes against what some of my classes have been teaching and have been discussing for the past 312 years,” allegedly quoting the Green Bay Press Gazette.
The change in policy was made in response to a Vatican record titled” Dignitas Infinita,” which states that the church does not condone the practice of human amputation through surgery and chemical methods.
I do n’t want to beat up on Griese, because I feel bad for her.
She has been paying tuition to a Catholic school for three and a half years, but she has never heard what the Catholic Church’s gender studies are. Unfortunately, when someone expresses a separatist viewpoint in the form of a joke, such as” I attended a Catholic school”
Her faculty should be in the spotlight for failing to teach her the facts. It is depressing that her professors never told her about these issues, though I do n’t expect a college student to read every letter from the Catholic Church or speech from Pope Francis. To be honest, the gender studies ministry does have access to a number of courses that purport to address issues relating to sexuality and Catholic Church teaching.
Even if we are unaware of it, the concept of truth and its transparency are another problem. I’d assume that the majority of Catholics who practice regularly have heard a speech about the gender binary from Griese. ” I never heard my priest say that ]about abortion, marriage, birth control ]”, as if it changes the teaching. Or” The Catholic Church does n’t teach that anymore, does it”?
We are not held accountable for what we do n’t know, but Catholic colleges professors are.
