I wrote in July that there ca n’t be a national unity, burying the hatchet, or cooling the rhetoric with those who have long advocated for assassination preparation and for political violence. You ca n’t hammer someone in the face and then demand that they calm down.
Trump’s election victory does n’t change that. Not to be pardoned if those in the media advertising who have spent years labeling Trump a fascist and comparing him to Hitler, asserting that he is a danger to democracy and that he will use his national authority to pursue his enemies. Their falsehoods and constant advertising should not be forgotten. No one should ever afterwards take them seriously. When they attempt to enter the public rectangular, they should either be completely ignored or been met with a wall of scorn and contempt. No matter what they may say in the future, there can be no true unification with them because they are enemies of the British people who they unveiledly despise.
Going forward, it should be a mark of shame to get associated with MSNBC, CBS News, and CNN. Same goes for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, and Politico. All the “prestige” media outlets that perpetrated lies, distortions, and deranged rhetoric about Trump may gain so much trust that their readers and viewers bases collapse, advertisers abandon them, and they get broken up and sold off for parts. If Laurene Powell Jobs wants to run a vanity publication for her own amusement, good. But let’s not believe that it’s a significant place where journalists are employed. We are all aware of the present.
Tradition media outlets, the poll industry, the Democratic-funded nonprofits, and the academic and activist leaders who operate them have all been exposed as cogs in a massive propaganda machine. Kamala Harris always led. She always had a chance of winning. There was no” joy”. She was n’t “brat”. She did n’t even win the Democrat Party nomination, it was handed to her in a backroom deal. She is n’t relatable or cool, she’s the most cringey and fake person ever to run for president. The American people were subjected to a massive psyop by corporate media and the Democrats to make them believe something that was n’t true. And it failed. We should not lose faith in these people because they will say everything for the sake of power.
There should be more serious and elegant punishment for the government officials and institutions that attempted to bankrupt and imprison Trump. The Justice Department reportedly will be firing Special Counsel Jack Smith and dropping his circumstances against Trump before Trump takes office on Wednesday. That’s wonderful, but Smith should not be allowed to simply walk away. He and everyone else at Biden’s DOJ who participated in these Trump lawful situations should be investigated and held accountable for their actions.
And of course, the issue extends much beyond Smith. We should n’t just bow our heads at Trump because he won, but what the Justice Department and the FBI did to him was one of the most egregious abuses of power in American history. These organizations must completely rebuilt and rebuilt. The FBI has shown itself to be a threat to the American citizens and an enemy of the people in specific. Its chairman, Christopher Wray, does not just be allowed to retire. He may be removed and placed under judicial investigation.  ,
The same applies to New York Attorney General Leticia James, whose continued legal battles with Trump are a source of controversy, who announced on Wednesday that her office is “fighting up” against the incoming Trump presidency. She ought to be imprisoned at the very least if she attempts to bust Trump through a false fraud event involving no victims of fraud.  ,
Finally there’s Liz Cheney, who in her position as vice chair of the Jan. 6 Committee has been accused of inducing see fraud, destroying papers, and suppressing exonerating information. Cheney posted what seemed like , a message of conciliation , on X Tuesday night, saying we must accept the results of the election. But she should n’t get off so easily either. Her Jan. 6 Committee role should be thoroughly investigated, and she should be charged with a crime if necessary.
The truth is, if Trump had n’t won he’d be going to prison. For supporting Trump, Elon Musk would have been targeted by the government, bankrupted, and subjected to years of lawfare. People have spent years trying to do just that to Trump, and they have been the ones who complained loudest about Trump using the government against his political foes.
The notion that we should simply forget everything right away for the sake of unity is incredibly foolish and naive. If those accountable are held accountable, they will never stop attempting to defeat their foes by all means at their disposal. There must be a reckoning and justice before we can ever find something like unity once more in America. Without those things, the divisions in our country wo n’t be able to heal.  ,
Even with a reckoning, unity will be difficult. We ca n’t just say” Oh well we’re all Americans in the end”. That wo n’t cut it. There are many of our countrymen who are no longer Americans in any meaningful way, despite their stark reality. As Doug Ellmers , has written, they “do not believe in, live by, or even like the principles, traditions, and ideals that until recently defined America as a nation and as a people. It is not obvious what we should call these citizen-aliens, these non-American Americans, but they are something else”.
We will still have a problem of division and division among our citizens until those who break the law are held accountable and those who lie are ignored and obliterated. With two conflicting viewpoints regarding what the country should be, we will still be two separate nations occupying the same area. We ca n’t paper over those differences, and we should n’t.
To achieve real and lasting unity we’ll need a counter-revolution in America, a re-founding of the country. The American people will need to be converted to the ideals, principles, and way of life that made our country possible in the first place in order to accomplish this.
