On social media platforms, articles and videos showing women who choose to avoid having sex and avoid relationships with men are popular.
The rise of the activity is linked to issues about women’s reproductive rights, especially regarding pregnancy, following the election results.

The increase in young adult Democratic voters is also being protested by the women. The name “4B” comes from the number 4 and the letter” B”, where” B” is short for “no” in Korean, indicating four “nos”. This activity, which originated in South Korea, encourages people to abstain from sex, dating, relationship, and having babies with people.
