A 31-year-old National holiday, Mackenzie Michalski, vacationing in Budapest, Hungary, was found dead after being reported missing for several weeks. After giving a confession, officials announced on Friday that a suspect had been detained in connection with her death.
Michalski, from Portland, Oregon, was last seen at a bar in central Budapest on November 5. Security footage showed her with the think, a 37-year-old British voter identified as LTM, at various locations.
After meeting at the pub, the suspect, who was detained on November 7, admitted to killing Michalski in his rented house. He said that the dying occurred during an “intimate experience” and was sudden.
After the crime, the assume attempted to conceal the system in a closet, cleaned the house, and used a backpack to move the body to Lake Balaton, where he disposed of it. He later found out that he had looked into figure waste techniques and police procedures in cases involving missing people.
Michalski’s families, who had traveled to Hungary to aid in the research, were devastated to learn of her death upon arrival. At a light ceremony, her father, Bill Michalski, expressed his grief, saying,” There was no reason for this to happen … I’m still trying to wrap my arms around what happened… I do n’t know that I ever will”.
