At least 17 people were killed when an Israeli bomb targeted a house in the north Gaza Strip early on Sunday, according to the hospital’s director who received the body. Dr. Fadel Naim, chairman of the Al-Ahly Hospital in Gaza City, said the dying include nine people, and that the burden was likley to climb as recovery efforts continue.
He claimed that Israel has been conducting an offensive against a home in the industrial refugee station of Jabaliya for more than a month.
The Israeli government did not respond right away.
For the past month, Israeli forces have mostly encircled and deserted Jabaliya and the adjacent Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoun, allowing only a small flow of humanitarian assistance. In Gaza City, tens of thousands of people have fled.
The northern region of Gaza was initially targeted by Israel’s surface conquest, and Hamas ‘ attack on southern Israel sparked the worst damage in 13 months.
Hamas extremists have been claiming that Israeli troops have resurrected areas of Gaza where they originally operated, according to Israeli troops.
