On Saturday evening, a person attempts to steal a six-year-old son from his dad on a Brooklyn sidewalk. The incident occurred around 3: 30 am in Crown Heights, a main gateway for the ultra-Orthodox area.
As the film shows, the father was walking with his two brothers when a man came up to them while they were out walking. The man grabbed the six-year-old and lifted him into the atmosphere, but the father immediately intervened, pulling his brother away from the suspect.
The masked person was punched in the chest by the Catholic Jewish father.
The suspect took finger to flee the scene. No injuries have been reported, according to authorities.
In a post on X, Chabad PR agent Yaacov Behrman wrote,” This movie is shocking. He continued,” Everything is clearly going on in Crown Heights; there have been incident after incident for two weeks.”
The 71st neighborhood is handling the investigation, which is ongoing. At this time, there are no detention. A rep for Shomrim, a secret police power serving NYC’s Jewish neighborhood, said no words were exchanged between the suspect and the community, according to a New York Post statement.
