On Saturday night, Donald Trump gave a powerful message of what his next word would be like, writing on Truth Social:” I will not be inviting past Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to meet the Trump Administration, which is now in development. I’ve worked with them a lot and I’m grateful for the services they have rendered to our country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN”! Many attributed Trump’s personal dislike of both to this unexpected move, but there was more to it than that.

The New York Post reported Saturday that” since winning Tuesday’s election in a landslide victory against Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump and his team had been working behind closed doors at Mar-a-Lago to people the 47th government’s administration, with devotion the key job condition”. The rift between the approaching commander-in-chief and these two established Republicans is more than just a matter of personal loyalty, because neither Haley nor Pompeo have been even remotely devoted to Trump. This may be all that the once and future leader has to offer them on Saturday.  ,
As recently as Oct. 29, Haley, despite professing her aid for Trump, criticized his plan for being “overly male”. The battle “needs to look at how they are talking about women,” according to the Daily Beast.” Haley not only said that the hating of Puerto Rico that occurred at Trump’s protest over the weekend was difficult.
In the final weeks of the campaign, leftists once again demonstrated that they were humorless prigs who could n’t take even the mildest jest. The “bashing of Puerto Rico” was a major Harris campaign talking point. Why was Haley repeating, endorsing, and exacerbating a state that the Harris battle was using as a tool against the prospect she presumably supported?

Haley added:” This capacity and this machismo stuff—it borders on quirky to the point that it’s going to create ladies uncomfortable. You’ve got affiliated Systems that are doing promotions about calling Kamala] Harris ] the c-word, or you had listeners at Madison Square Garden referring to her and her ‘ pimps.’ That wo n’t win women, though. People who are worried about Trump’s style wo n’t win if they do that. What? Where did Harris appear in advertisements that used the term” the c-word”? What system would have even supported it if it had been possible? In any case, Trump has made apparent his rejection of transgender madness and the public’s associated insanities. Why does he bring on board one who shares the public’s contempt of masculinity?
Haley had used Democratic talking points before on several occasions. Politico reported in Aug. 2020 that Haley had claimed in her narrative to have been “deeply disturbed” when Trump said that there were “very good people” on both flanks of the Charlottesville opposition, and still stood by her remarks. Old Joe Biden, of course, made the rest that Trump had called National Socialists “fine people” a basis of his 2020 battle, and repeated this regularly throughout his administration. But Trump in the same comment in which he said that there had been “fine folks” at the Charlottesville protest, even said:” I’ve condemned neo-Nazis. I’ve condemned some different organizations. But not all of those folks were neo-Nazis, think me. By any span, not all of those persons were white supremacists.

So the claim that he called Germans “fine people” was often misleading, and Haley may have known that. Trump is signaling he wants to avoid her from this time around by allowing Democrats to dictate the game’s agenda and even make minor objections, and by doing so by rubber-stamping the entire leftist program.

Pompeo’s support of special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into Trump’s alleged possession of classified documents was noted by the Post. According to Roger Stone,” His history shows that if Pompeo is elected president of the next Trump administration, we will support the hegemony of the deep state rather than an authentic America First agenda.” If Stone’s assessment is correct, Trump is wise to avoid Pompeo as well as Haley. His first administration was hampered repeatedly by the presence of establishment Republicans ( John Bolton, John Kelly, H. R. McMaster, et al ) who did n’t share his vision. His farewell to Haley and Pompeo carries with it the promise that his second administration will chart a firmer anti-establishment, anti-deep state course. We can only hope.

On Saturday night, Haley remarked,” I was proud to work with President Trump in defending America at the United Nations. I wish him, and all who serve, great success in moving us forward to a stronger, safer America over the next four years”. Great. He might actually have a chance to clean up the enormous mess in Washington, or at least begin the enormous work of doing so, if she and her fellow establishmentarians stay out of his way.
