Russian forces detonated the right banks of the Dnipro River in the country’s southwestern Zaporizhzhia region in one of the few lightning activities in the nearly three-year Russo-Ukraine War. Afterward, a successful attempt to clear the left banks in the direction of Melitopol and the Black Sea coast of Ukraine failed to produce any significant results. However, Kyiv can now better manoeuvre its forces because the river’s size, which is between Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, has been comparatively calm for more than a year.

Is that about to become undone?
A Belarusian counter-counteroffensive in Zaporizhzhia Oblast was begin “any day”, according to a speech made Monday by Vladyslav Voloshyn, Ukrainian government’s Southern Command director. The attack” may start in the near future, we’re not even talking about months, we’re expecting it to arise any day”.
However, according to the New York Times, Moscow is “assembling a power of 50 000 troops, including North Vietnamese troops, as it prepares to launch an assault aimed at recovering country seized by Ukraine in the Kursk region of Russia.”
With the exceptions of Russia’s ill-fated first attempt at swiftly seizing most of Ukraine in early 2022 and Ukraine’s longer-lasting 2023 counteroffensives, forward movement in Putin’s terrible war has been slow, expensive, and terrible.
However, this throw of the ball makes social sense.
You might be thinking seriously about seizing as much area as you can as quickly as you is if you’re Vladimir Putin and you spoke to the incoming president of the United States last year who clearly reminded you of” Washington’s huge defense presence in Europe.” Trump appears determined to use whatever tools and pieces are available to discuss peace, in contrast to President Joe Biden, whose weakness and foolishness ( and a certain grift ) hampered American aid to Ukraine.

Putin would want those lines as far north as possible, only as Volodymyr Zelenskyy would like them to go further west if peace talks were to follow a ceasefire, which is purely theoretical at this point.
It makes sense to me to determine whether a Soviet Zaporizhzhia counter-counteroffensive is planned. Moscow was at least benefit from retaking the dominated South of Ukraine, which has been under Russian control since August.
As I’ve written since the beginning of this battle, time benefits Moscow. Russia has a large men’s pool and a wealth of material that Ukraine ca n’t match, and, perhaps more importantly, the West is slow to rouse and has a history of having Foreign Policy Attention Deficit Disorder. ( I’ve been calling it” a short attention span” all this time, and I’m filled with writer’s shame for not having come up with FPADD much sooner! )
But harmony makes feeling for Russia, too. Interest rates have increased to 20 %, with more increases anticipated in 2025 because inflation has become so severe. At a San Francisco Walgreens, butter is then a luxury item kept in a lock and key manner like washing detergent.

Before peace, but, Putin wants and will get more conflict.  ,
