Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that John Ratcliffe, the former director of national intelligence, will lead the central intelligence agency (CIA) in his upcoming administration. “From exposing fake Russian collusion to be a Clinton campaign operation, to catching the FBI’s abuse of Civil Liberties at the FISA Court, John Ratcliffe has always been a warrior for Truth and Honesty with the American Public,” Trump said.
Trump more noted,” When 51 intelligence officers were lying about Hunter Biden’s laptop, there was one, John Ratcliffe, telling the truth to the American People”.
Trump highlighted,” For these and many other factors, it was my wonderful glory in 2020 to honor John the National Security Medal, the world’s highest glory for recognized success in the field of Intelligence and National Security”.
Ratcliffe led the US intelligence area during his first name as the country’s sixth director of national intelligence, and he also served as Trump’s top knowledge advisor.
Trump expressed confidence in Ratcliffe’s interview, saying,” I look forward to John being the first person ever to function in both of our world’s highest Intelligence jobs. He will fight with ferocity for the legal rights of all Americans while ensuring harmony through force and highest amounts of national security.
Before his DNI interview, Ratcliffe represented Texas’s 4th Congressional District for over five times. He served on the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees while also serving as the chairman of the Homeland Security Committee for cybercrime. During his day in Congress, he made significant contributions to national security plan.
