President-elect Donald Trump has been busy appointing decision after alternative to his Cabinet with some well-known takes, while some others have been more unconventional.
Although Senate Republicans are open to discussing any Cabinet option, Kennedy’s due views on vaccines, his unpopularity with Senate Democrats, and his earlier animal-related unrest could be substantial roadblocks. The choice is likely to be supported by at least one Democratic legislator.
Sen. elect Bernie Moreno of Ohio told Semafor,” I’ll help anyone President Trump nominates because I know he’s vetted away and he deserves a team he may pick.” He may receive a lot of respect, he said.
Over the past several decades, Kennedy and Trump have become more close. The original independent presidential candidate endorsed the late chairman and played a significant role in his plan.
” He’s going to help make America healthy again”, Trump said about Kennedy.  ,” He’s a fantastic man, and he really means that he wants to do some things, and we’re going to let him go to it”.
However, Trump has previously faced some opposition in the political climate. His change co-chairman, Howard Lutnick, told CNN that Kennedy is” no getting” a chance to direct the Department of Health and Human Services.
More moderate Republican, quite as Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), have already shown suspicion about Kennedy.
” I have no idea whether he’s actually going to be nominated for a Senate-confirmed place”, Collins said.
Kennedy would also need to provide in-depth financial information, which could lead to yet another scandal if something noteworthy is discovered. Additionally, his previous vaccination skepticism may be questioned.
It is unlikely that any Senate Democrat will vote for Kennedy’s assurance, and while Republicans have a 53-seat majority, a group of senators in Collins, Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Bill Cassidy (R-LA ) are likely to be wary. Just one more GOP departure would be required if those three voted no.

Trump was skirt a Senate assurance, probably placing Kennedy in an advisory role, but it is likely that Kennedy may push for a genuine say in the administration.
“]Trump ] asked me to stop the chronic disease outbreaks in this state”, Kennedy , said , on Nov. 2. ” And he said, I want to see results, measurable benefits, in the diminishment of severe disease within two years. And I said,’ Mr. President, I will do that.'”
