Following a significant vote damage, propaganda outlet CNN plans to fire hundreds of employees, including prominent figures, to ensure that President-elect Donald Trump was not elected.
The ratings-challenged channel will presumably carry “layoffs that may affect hundreds of employees across the business”, according to Puck News, after trailing behind MSNBC, which also saw ratings reservoir, and Fox News on election night. Earlier this year, CNN fired about 100 people.
The days of progressive journalists receiving millions and tens of millions of dollars to improvise and hobnob with their everlasting ruling class friends should be over, according to Curtis Houck, managing editor of MRC Newsbusters. “CNN’s family business WarnerMedia has had a plethora of problems financially, so it’s no wonder they’d look to CNN as a position to lean down”.
CNN CEO Mark Thompson, who came to the network last year after Chris Licht was pushed out, appears to be shifting gears from television production to focus on a “new digital-first landscape”, Puck reported, and fire members of the television team whose “talents wo n’t necessarily be needed”.
CNN’s fate should not be a shock to everyone, much less its own people, who have been deliberately lying to the American people for decades.
While it is unclear who will be on the chopping block, Thompson is also slated to cut the reported salaries retained by anchors like Anderson Cooper ($ 20 million ), Erin Burnett ($ 6 million ), and Kaitlan Collins ($ 3 million ). Chris Wallace, in contrast, announced that he would stop working for CNN after three years of subpar ratings and instead do podcasting, a method the Trump campaign used to deceive the corporate media.
According to a report from The Ankler published last month, Thompson had discussed asking Wallace for a raise and had not given cables Jake Tapper and Wolf Blitzer a lift.
According to Puck, CNN will reduce redundancies and eliminate full divisions.
” If it were n’t for the conservatives that CNN has in its ranks, including Brad Todd, David Urban, Shermichael Singleton, and others,” Houck said,” they would have to be laying off way more people than the number of people they’re going to end up cutting loose because the network’s web traffic and online conversation would be a barren wasteland.”
According to Dylan Byers, a founding partner and senior journalist for Puck, “roughly 4.5 million people tuned into wire news last night.” 85 % of them were 55 or older. 75 % of them watched Fox News”.
Yet though MSNBC beat CNN, both outlets ‘ viewers tanked. According to Mediaite, which obtained viewers information from Thursday, MSNBC saw a 23 percent reduction and CNN saw a 40 percentage drop for the day, year over year. During primary day, MSNBC plummeted 54 percentage compared to CNN’s 30 cent decrease, year over year.
Legacy news networks were now sagging toward 2016-level meltdowns about Donald J. Trump’s extremely unavoidable possibility of winning the presidency, according to Elle Purnell of The Federalist. Harris ‘ humiliating defeat is personal to them because it’s just as devastating to them as it is to her.
Business media outlets are losing people because they have been deceiving Americans for a long time, and everyone knows that. They are not losing viewers because of some ill-informed business decisions.
It is “hard not to see this election as just a national repudiation of what we do,” according to CNN chief propagandist Brian Stelter, who cited a radio reporter who was quoted as saying,” We spent four years reporting so aggressively” on issues like election denialism and the fallout from the January 6 attack, and many voters clearly did n’t care.”
The left-wing internet grunts, however, actually spent eight years covering up false information for fear of overreaching the masses to persuade Americans to agree with them.
” If half the country has decided that Trump is qualified to be president, that means they’re not reading any of this press, and we’ve lost this crowd completely”, an anonymous internet professional said prior to the election. The major media is currently dead, according to Trump’s success.
The Russia collusion hoax, which has been widely reported for years despite being thoroughly debunked, is one of CNN’s most severe instances of deception. The media’s lies continued to be used to fund their own Pulitzer Prize campaigns against the British state. As The Federalist’s Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway noted, CNN’s Tapper, even then, still refuses to take accountability for being a major spreader of the fake.
Left-wing media attempted to match Trump and his supporters to Germans in the times leading up to the election, making the claim that his Madison Square Garden march was identical to a 1939 pro-Nazi rally held at the same area. Jeffrey Goldberg, a journalist for The Atlantic, fabricates Trump’s claim that he berated a Gold Star community and wished for Nazi-style generals.
As The Federalist’s Eddie Scarry wrote, the press tried to tease people into believing that they are really not feeling financial pressure from prices, that violence is not increasing and common, and that refugees are n’t destroying American communities by refusing to adapt, among many other issues.
