Eva Longoria, an artist who supported Kamala Harris in the election, announced that she would be relocating from the “dystopian” US where Donald Trump was elected as a” convicted legal.” She acknowledged her privilege, not like most Americans, who ca n’t relocate to a new country. ” If he ( Trump ) keeps his promises, it’s going to be a scary place”. In an appointment for its November cover story, which was conducted two days after Trump won the election, Longoria said,” The surprising element is not that he won.”
” It’s that a convicted criminal who spews so much love may hold the highest office”, Longoria explained.
Eva Longoria was born in Texas, spent her youth in some nations, and lived in both Spain and Mexico throughout her adult life.
Before the COVID-19 crisis in 2020, Longoria said, the U. S. “was changing” and the “vibe was unique”. ” And next COVID happened, and it pushed it over the top. It really feels like this chapter of my life is over, she said, “whether it’s the poverty or the income, not that I want to s**t on California.”
” I get to leave and go somewhere. Most Americans are n’t so lucky. They’re going to be stuck in this futuristic country, and my worry and grief is for them”, she said to the release.
Eva, 49, stated that she had been considering the options for some time but that the vote resulted in the ultimate breakthrough.
” It was like,’ Does my voting really matter? Am I truly making a distinction?'” she said. Because I genuinely believed in my mind that the best man wins, I was therefore unattached to the truth of what I do. And then that happened, and I was like,’ Oh, delay. The best man does n’t succeed.'”
Longoria lives between Mexico and Spain with husband Jose Baston and their 6-year-old son Santiago and does n’t spend much time there.
