Factchecks used by the Washington Post have largely been political propaganda equipment. The Post exposed this most infamously in October 2020 when it was revealed that Hunter Biden had planned what appeared to be an influence-peddling meeting between his unusual business users and his father, who was then vice president.  ,

The fact that the Post’s “fact checks” are generally designed to terrify, mistake, and destroy foes of the media’s plan makes it all the more striking that on Wednesday, the Post’s fact-checking limelight was shining on none other than Nancy Pelosi, who must have been all the more angry that it was n’t PJ Media or Fox catching her lying, but one of the left’s main propaganda organs.
According to a report from Fox News on Thursday, Pelosi was “fact-checked by the Washington Post on Wednesday for claiming that President-elect Trump’s second term brought in fewer immigrants than President-elect Trump did.” That’s correctly. In reality, Pelosi claims that President Wall and President Open Borders both admitted fewer improper immigrants.
Give Pelosi funds for courage: she knows there is a specific segment of people out there who will consider her and ignore the claims of her opponents, and even of the Washington Post fact check because they’re intellectually committed to the idea that the Democrats, and the left in general, are on the side of righteousness, justice, and truth. And after all, how many people out there are definitely paying attention? She knew she had a great opportunity to get some people to believe her statements, no matter how outrageous, and on this occasion, she actually went for the golden award of chutzpah.
Pelosi said in the midst of a post-mortem election:” I do n’t think we were clear enough to say that less people came under President Joe Biden than Donald Trump.” Yeah, maybe you and your cadres were n’t clear enough in making that point because it is wildly, howlingly, blazingly, outlandishly false. But Pelosi coolly went on to ascribe the catastrophic Democrat loss of the presidency, the Senate, and the House to a failure to make themselves clear:” It’s clarity of the message, and if that’s what Bernie’s talking about, and that’s what Joe Manchin’s talking about, we were n’t clear in our message as to what things are, then I agree with that”.

I do n’t. And no reasonable person would do it either. The Democratic Party’s communication was succinct. Everyone knew what a vote for Kamala Harris meant: open edges, higher taxes, rising crime, unvetted movement, the social glory of depravity and insanity, and the condemnation and oppression of patriots. Given what was at stake, Americans disputed that by a significant margin that should have been much greater. They did n’t vote for Kamala Harris because they were n’t clear on where she stood.
And because they did n’t agree with Pelosi’s claim that the Democrats are the party that actually cares about and wants to protect the citizens of the United States, voters who understand that a country must have a border never will be able to do so.
According to the fact check conducted by The Post, “at least four times as many immigrants entered the United States as Trump did.” The Post noted that” a Pelosi aide said she meant to refer to deportations and pointed to a Reuters article that Biden was now deporting more people than Trump because they were playing for the same team.”

This also, however, was unsatisfactory: the article that the Pelosi team sent over, said the Post,” showed that in fiscal year 2024, Biden was on pace to exceed the number of deportations of any single year under Trump. Far from it, the article did not mention that deportations would be higher under Trump than they would be. According to the Reuters count, Biden almost certainly will have fewer deportations than Trump in four years.

The Post concluded by awarding Pelosi” Four Pinocchios”. The former house speaker received ignominious treatment, which was made even more insulting by the Washington Post’s blatant use of it. You are aware of the statement, which states that democracy “dies in darkness” and all that.
