Michael Strahan, a former National Football League star and” Good Morning America” analyst, has apologized after receiving criticism for allegedly being “disrespectful” by not holding his hand over his heart during the” Star-Spangled Banner” playing during a pre-Veterans Day Fox broadcast on Sunday.
Newsmax number Todd Starnes tweeted,” Michael Strahan disrespected the military during a Veterans Day pre-game present on @NFLonFOX,” rather of holding his hands over his soul in front of him during the National Anthem. The sarcasm of Strahan is that he is surrounded by both men and women who will willingly give their lives in order to defend his liberty. But, his behavior is not just repulsive, it’s quite cowardly”.
After receiving a lot of negative feedback on his performance during the National Anthem, Strahan posted a video message on Instagram explaining that he was not protesting by holding his hand over his soul.
In the movie, Strahan said,” I love the defense, and that is the only speech that needs to be made.” ” I’ve often loved the defense, and I will often appreciate the military. I participate in numerous applications to assist soldiers and military. My father, a significant in the Army, was the one who raised me on a military base.
” My nephew, my sister, my relatives, they all served in the military — I’m a military brat”, Strahan added. ” And so the fact of somebody saying that, you know, I’m unpatriotic, could n’t be any further from the truth”.

The NFL scientist claimed that he was” caught up in the moment” during Sunday’s unique pre-Veterans Day spread. Strahan claimed to be “amazed” by the young service members ‘ willingness to” commit to something” that allows Americans to enjoy their freedom by looking around at all the U.S. Navy sailors.
By the time he realized what was happening, Strahan and his fellow Fox guests were now holding their breaths. He said,” I fairly despair, and I’m like,’ Do I get the foolish that puts his hand over his soul after, or do I just stand around with my hands in front of me graciously?’ Which, that’s what I did, that’s what happened”.
I’m sorry to you if any of our soldiers and military members found that offensive because it was never my intention. I’m a solution of the military, a happy lover of the military, and a happy fan of all those who served before, then, and who will assist in the future”. Strahan concluded.
