Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic representative, was chosen by Donald Trump on Wednesday as his Director of National Intelligence ( DNI ) nominee.
In a Wednesday statement released on Truth Social, Trump wrote,” I am pleased to announce that past Congresswoman, Lieutenant Colonel Tulsi Gabbard, may serve as Director of National Intelligence”.
” For over two years, Tulsi has fought for our Country and the Freedoms of all Americans”, Trump added. She was a former Democratic presidential candidate and has received” a lot of help” in both parties. Tulsi did embody the brave soul that has characterised her distinguished career, advance our country’s constitutional rights, and ensure peace through cooperation. Tulsi may render us all proud”!
Wednesday’s statement also included an consideration of Gabbard’s most significant achievements. In addition to representing Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District from 2013 to 2021, Gabbard joined the Army National Guard after the 9/11 criminal problems. The previous Democrat was cited in the speech as having served as a battalion chief in Iraq with the 29th Brigade Combat Team in 2004.

Gabbard made the announcement that she would leave the Democrat Party in 2022. She announced her candidacy for the Republican Party in October after backing Trump in August.
Gabbard is still a part of the U.S. Army Reserve, according to Fox News. Gabbard was promoted to colonel commander three years ago, according to the store.
Following Trump’s election statement on Wednesday, Gabbard tweeted,” Bless you, @realDonaldTrump, for the opportunity to serve as a member of your case to protect the health, security and freedom of the British people. I’m anxious to start working.
According to Fox News, Gabbard will be tasked with leading the National Intelligence Program and providing advice to the senator on national security concerns.
