A disastrous blaze broke out at” Jardines de Villafranca”, a pensions service in Villafranca del Ebro in northeastern Spain, beginning Friday, claiming at least 10 life, according to the Charlemagne local government.
” A nursing home blaze at Villafranca de Ebro that started this morning left at least 10 people dead. More details will be made available,” the Aragon disaster service said in a statement released on X.
The fire began at approximately 5 am ( local time ), and firefighters required about two hours to extinguish the flames, as reported by a regional government representative, quoted by Reuters. The maintenance home, which housed 82 old people, had no access to the official’s confirmation that all of the victims were occupants. However, one remains in critical situation, whilst many others are receiving therapy mainly for smoke inhalation.
Emergency rescuers, including paramedics from Zaragoza, located 35 miles away, along with ambulances and officers, attended the picture. The regulators are looking into the fire’s origin.
