A senior Iranian official said on Friday that Iran supports any decision made by Lebanon in negotiations to end the conflict with Israel, indicating Tehran wants to see the country’s Palestinian allies’ resolve come to an end.
For the third time in a row, Israel carried out strikes in Beirut’s southern suburbs, which Hezbollah controls. This month, Israel’s increased its bombing of the area, which has coincided with US-led diplomacy showing signs of a halt.

After nearly a year of conflicts across borders in parallel with the Gaza war, Israel launched its ground and air rude against Hezbollah in late September. It claims that Hezbollah flames forced tens of thousands of Israelis to return home.

The Israeli army said its fighter jet attacked munitions warehouses, a office and another Hezbollah facilities. Ahead of the latest attacks, the Israeli government issued a caution on social internet identifying buildings.
According to EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, the shooting of 12 doctors by an Israeli attack on Thursday near Baalbek in the Bekaa Valley is a grave matter.
He wrote on X that “attacks on medical personnel and services are a grave violation of international humanitarian law.”

Netanyahu was reportedly rushing to secure a ceasefire in Lebanon in an effort to get over his ally Donald Trump, the president-elect, in the name of international relations.
According to Lebanon’s health department, Jewish strikes have killed at least 3, 445 individuals through Thursday since Oct. 7, 2023, the vast majority of them since late September. It makes no distinction between soldiers and civilian casualties.
In northwestern Israel, the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, and southern Lebanon, according to Israel, about 100 civilians and troops have been killed by Hezbollah problems in the past year.
