Chicago has seen its share of ignorant, broken officials. But it’s never seen anyone quite like the current president, Brandon Johnson.
In Chicago’s past, Johnson has the lowest approval score of any president. If he had no idea what he was doing, the city would n’t suffer as much.  ,

Consider the example of Texas Governor Greg Abbot’s sending of illegal aliens north next year into Chicago. Practically, there was no place to put them. Therefore, Johnson made the decision to construct two temporary shelters for up to 2, 000 fugitives.
He attempted to get the state authorities to approve of the location once he had found it. However, the position, after testing the soil, discovered unacceptable levels of harmful substances, including mercury, arsenic, lead, iron, and a substance used in PVC.
Johnson claimed that the compounds were n’t at harmful degrees, and besides, the town had removed most of them. He claimed that despite the fact that the site contained poisons that required poisonous waste removal, he was correct to attempt to place migrants on the polluted land because the state had not specifically stated that the poisonous ground was harmful to people’s health.
J. Governor of Illinois B. Pritzker was livid. The condition is not, according to Pritzker spokeswoman Jordan Abudayeh in a statement, though the city may be pleasant placing asylum seekers there where toxins are present without fully understanding whether the area is secure.
Johnson accused the government of racism and placed the blame on the government for the incompetence. This is just one more example of how Chicagoans are dissatisfied with Johnson and his complete villain car management.
Presently Johnson is trying to close a billion-dollar funds opening. He needs to do this because his employer, the Chicago Teachers Union ( CTU), is negotiating a new contract, and they want a$ 10 billion-$ 14 billion raise.  ,

He attempted to compel Pedro Martinez, the CEO of Chicago Public Schools, to take out extremely high-interest debts. School panel people resigned as a result of Johnson’s repeated attempt to persuade them to ignore Martinez.  ,
Throughout the 2023 gubernatorial campaign, Johnson was emphatic about hardly raising home income. Companies have been avoiding Chicago because it already has one of the nation’s highest property taxes rates. Johnson’s claim was broken in near-record time.
Johnson proposed a property tax increase of$ 300 million. And the town council, after weeks of insults, upheaval, and baffled incompetence, suddenly said no more. The city council voted overwhelmingly to arrow Johnson’s revenue increase.
The majority vote was generally symbolic. Last weekend, negotiations started to replace the property tax increase with a mix of fresh revenue and federal pandemic relief funds.
After reevaluation increases and two straight centuries of up-to-the-limit property tax rises to finance Chicago Public Schools, municipal supporters and critics equally seized the opportunity to score political factors with irate constituents struggling to hold onto their homes and businesses.
The Council’s decision on Thursday was perhaps the strongest indication yet that Johnson’s erratic public approval ratings have encouraged it to prevent obeying the mayor’s purchases.
” This is a battle of incredible measurements”, Southwest Side Ald. Marty Quinn ( 13th ) told the Sun-Times in the run-up to Thursday’s vote.
Quinn continued,” The mayor is rewrite it and pretend to be the governor cooperator whenever he wants.” ” But in truth, within a year’s time, his resources will have been voted down. For a City Council that is becoming more independent, that is incredibly important. It ca n’t be understated”.

Johnson resides in a utopian society where no one who opposes him is racist or crooked. It’s alarming at times, because a wonders if he still has a connection to reality.  ,
The ballot was mainly symbolic, because negotiations are afoot to near that billion-dollar budget gap with other measures. But there was no conversation, only an up or down ballot.
Is his disengage from real exaggerated?
His advisers insist they made no attempt to stop Thursday’s vote and do not see it as an humiliation. In fact, Johnson told reporters on Tuesday, he was not serious about the$ 300 million estate tax increase. He made it a centerpiece of his$ 17.3 billion budget simply to shock the Council into proposing serious revenue-raising alternatives, he said.
A lunatic is running the city of Chicago.
